Was mentioned before Christmas that the new series re-started on 29th. This seems to be their Achilles heel versus The Chase - the latter seems to record more episodes per year, whereas you're never quite sure with Pointless when the repeats make way for new shows!

Rather bizarrely tonight's Pointless either is nor available on BBC1 HD or it's not registering on the EPG. Though neither is the news.

Yes - big cock-up all round. RT says repeat when it wasn't, and it didn't record for me because BBC1 HD was listed on the EPG as being the red screen when local news is on.

I happened to notice it part-way through round 1 and watched it live.
