Could you not get your own SIM (free or £1) and top it up yourself with a few quid?

The T&Cs are quite clear.
Virgin Media upgrades: It must be 6 months since joining Virgin Media or 6 months since last upgrade. Customer must have used number in the last 90 days to make a chargeable event. Vodafone upgrades: It must be 6 months since joining Vodafone or 6 months since last upgrade. Customer has made 2 chargeable events in the last 6 months and has applied at least £15 of chargeable top-ups in the last 6 calendar months. O2 upgrades: It must be 6 months since joining O2 or 6 months since last upgrade. A chargeable event must have occurred on the number at any time. I used mine on the 530 and 635 deals over Christmas. Hopefully will be ready for the W10 handset deals next time round. |
