Thanks for the thread. Ronnie should really stay into the coma until the after mount pleasure filming return imo.

Mmm, but she's only leaving for a few weeks to do that. We probably won't notice a difference on screen.

I haven't missed Ronnie to be honest but I'm looking forward to her return. I don't think Samantha Womack should take any more breaks for at least 6 months. I want to invest in Ronnie properly but it will be hard if she keeps coming and going all the time

Can't wait for Ronnie to be back! For me, EastEnders isn't the same without her.

I hope, after this Mount Pleasant break, there won't be any more breaks for a while.

Ronnie's return will certainly spark my interest. Of all the big name EE characters currently around, she's without a question my favourite. Too bad Roxy's affair with Charlie will spark off another sibling feud. We saw how good Roxy's performance was on the NYD episode. They went and ruined it by giving her this storyline. The brief plot where she was bonding with Ineta was interesting though.

I thought she was really unlikeable when she took Archie's side when Ronnie admitted that he sexually abused her.

As a registered nurse I find a three and a half month coma absolutely ridiculous and very unlikely.

She was only actually in the coma for a month and a half. She's been in recovery for almost two months now.

by soap standards its realistic. Normally if someone is in a coma they are up in a week and running a marathon in two weeks. I think this even happened in Neighbours once!!

I sometimes think DTC is sort of modelling Shirley on Santer's Ronnie. She was estranged from her father and now she's going to be isolated from her family and there's a long lost sibling too.

That's why we need Queen Veronica back to reclaim her crown from the carbon copy!

I don't like Roxy as a character but I don't think she would have gone with Charlie with her beloved sister in a coma, it was all so ridiculous and makes her a truly vile person.

I'm surprised the thread title isn't "Ronnie's back"

Excited for her return. A truly phenomenal character.

At long last. That phenomenal New Year's episode seems a lifetime away now, she's been gone that long.

Yep! Seeing as a lot of people view the forums on their phones now, there is literally no other way to get people to see it. So every time I make an EastEnders post...
