I could live without this Roxy/Charlie storyline but I don't think it is out of character for Roxy. She was quick to jump into bed with Jack again in 2012. Even if he wasn't with Ronnie anymore she barely waited until the bed was cold. She then came on two men who were with other women (Alfie, Max), one of whom was being treated for cancer, the other caring for her stroke-afflicted father. She has few morals when it comes to men.

Glad Martin gave as good as he got and reminded Sonia that she stole from
charity [everyone else did after a week]. Ohhh, Cora's reverted back to her old, venomous ways, as I predicted. You only have yourself to blame Dean. Nooo, Mas, setting Tam up on a blind date / assisted marriage is a bad idea. ![]() Charlie and Roxy still makes no sense to me. ![]() 'Save a place for me at the bar fellas' Aww, Patrick. ![]() Oh damn, if it wasn't out already, now everyone knows that Shirley is Mick's mum. ![]() Time to face up to your sins, Roxy.

I think it's selfish that the Carters didn't do a toast for Jim Branning. Or maybe DTC is the one who doesn't give a damn about John Bardon.
![]() The Roxy/Charlie storyline is so forced its laughable. |

Hate how Charlie said that he wished he met Roxy first. Utterly disgusted by this. She can be a good character when they make an effort, but she's as gobby as Kat and Bianca at the end of the day. I loved the Roxy who was in pieces when she thought Ronnie died, and even when she was there Alfie after Kat cheated on him.
I hated her when she defended Archie, seems like they're trying to make her unlikable once more. Charlie needs to find some mates outside of his home life. Kush and Martin would be pretty good if they wanted a group of male friends on the Square. |

First ep i've watched properly in around a month. Doesn't feel like much has changed really, I feel like i can almost predict what's happened. Hopefully things can get entertaining again soon.

I like the fact Roxy/Rita has a storyline and that, but why have they done this stupid affair thing, Charlie and Ronnie were made for each other, I don't like it at all.
Ronnie even if she was like in it for like 5 mins. ![]() "Off you trot" lmao, I luv that saying. ![]() Liked all the Carter scenes, they will never bore me. Dean crying, I have no sympathy for him.

Not a bad episode. Although the kids party wasn't needed. We hardly know the girl.
Poor Patrick losing two friends in one day. ![]() Lots of self pity knocking around tonight...the trait seems to run through the Carters from (the late) Stan to Shirley and her boys. Loved Masood and his matchmaking....not so sure Tam will. ![]() Billy gets promoted and Les is sunning himself with Claudette ![]() I know Charlie and Roxy are in the wrong, but I do like them together. ![]() Ronnie's awake and talking

I don't know John Bardon, but I still paid my respects to him. I also pay my respects to the men from the army whenever I hear that one has died.

I think it would have been realistic for the Carters to have mentioned Jim. The Vic is the heart of the community and I'm sure Mick would have understood his punters would have appreciated the landlord giving a nod to one of the former customers.
I don't mind that they didn't acknowledge Jim on that occasion though. |

Honestly, them mentioning Jim would've been enough for me to find the Carters a little more bearable.

Great to see Charlie back.
I still like Shirley and Buster, I think they work so well together and are equally matched - Buster does seem to care about Shirley, I hope it is genuine. Can't Dean just leave now, please? No offense to Matt DA but Dean has to go. Felt so bad for Shirley tonight, she is not dealing with Stan's death well! Masood trying to find Tam a wife, with that shirt? Brilliant. Billy gets promoted and then thrown in at the deep end! I do like Billy, still want to see a Billy/Carol pairing. ![]() Ronnie's awake! Nice scene between Patrick and Carol. Like NuMartin. |

Well Hello Charlie! Such a good looking chap
Will ignore the fact he's having it off with his sister in law I don't understand why they would do this to a couple (Ronnie/Charlie) who were popular? Most of the comments I have seen like/liked them Soooooo annoyingOh man that kids party was cringe Pretty sure Declan has a better voice than Charlie ![]() Poor Patrick ![]() I have no sympathy for Dean

Shirley's line "I'm weak" was the most interesting and honest line of the night, I thought. Esp coming from Shirley, herself.

I thought Cora's line to the Carters "your family think the world revolves around them" was the line of the show
