I mean

Love WP

But 930 is going to be replaced soon, and is by all relative terms quite an old phone.

I'd probably wait for the replacement, maybe try out a WinPhone first though as they're not for everyone.

Also read some articles about Windows Phone 10, which the replacement will be running.

The Lumia 930 (which i have) will also be upgraded to Wp10. The potential replacement of the 930 won't be in the market before the end of the summer. Trying a lower end Lumia to see if you like it, it's a good shout.

I also own an Ipad 2, have Skygo installed, mainly thinking on the on demand service and I m going to be 100% honest with you, since sky massively improved the on demand service in their sky hd boxes, i never had need to use it.Of course, people have dif needs...
I struggle to see the relevance, Sky Go isn't designed for when you are sitting in front of your TV and Sky HD box, or have you found a way to use your Sky HD box with on demand in the car, the office, the hotel room, the park...?

It was in my case, for on demand movies! If you were an early skygo adopter like I was then you will know very well that the on demand offer on skygo was far greater than in the sky HD boxes. Now the offer is the same on both.

Most of the banks have a WP app. Santander doesn't, but I just pinned the mobile site to the start screen and it works perfectly well and serves all my needs.
Not everyone wants to watch Sky or Virgin on a small screen. I'd use a tablet if I wanted that on the go. I had Skygo on my Android and never used it after checking it worked. Total waste of memory really.
If it's a deal breaker then don't get a Windows phone. Simple.

I tried a Windows Phone but soon went back to Android. Nothing wrong as such just many apps I use weren't there but mainly because I missed how customisable Android is. Maybe pick up something cheaper for now to try it out.

You do realise that's exactly what the OP is asking? Pros and cons of WP, not just pros and pros of WP .

Yes, but you must realise that others post on the thread also....and you must (if you read the thread) realise that I gave the OP my opinion on his question earlier.
LOL....:

I semi regularly use iOS, WP and Android devices. Feel that WP strikes a good balance between the customisation of Android and the overly restricted way that iOS presents its world.

Whilst I'm tempted by an Android device later on this year, I still tend to feel that Android is better on a tablet, and doesn't make for a good phone OS.

I used to have a windows phone (2 to 3 years ago) but was frustrated by how most apps were only on iOS or Android. I loved the UI, as it was very slick and stylish but at the end of the day I wanted apps that they didn't offer; banking apps, BBC Sport, Sky Go, some top games - although these may of arrived now but its too late for me, I went to Android. The IMDB app was clumsy compared to the iOS version back then as well for example. I remember it did have good integration with Zune.

It did have a good inbuilt app aggregating social apps in to one feed, I miss that, I miss getting Xbox achievements, I miss the UI, that's about it.
