Hi

Ive recently updated my iOS devives and OSX on my iMac. Ive staerted to use iCloud Photo Library and deleted iPhoto.

On my iPhone, Ive setup iCloud Photo Library to Optimise iPhone Storage.

When I download a photo/photos to my iPhone, obviously it will use up storage on my iPhone.

My question is, how do I put said downloaded photo/photos back to the cloud so Ican free up stoarge on my iPhone?

if I've understood you correctly, this is something I wondered too, i.e. if you download a load of full res photos to your phone, how would you revert them back to the low res ones after you had finished looking at them.

I think I did read somewhere that it automatically swaps them for the low res ones after a period of time - 7 or 30 days or something like that.

At least, that's how I think it is supposed to work.
