Just being curious, as I used to quite fancy her new bloke when he was on Brookie. Apart from the fact her character is a sarcastic and lumpy boiler, could you comfortably do passionate scenes with her? I'm no oil painting, but if I was in his shoes I'm not sure I could, regardless of the pay.
Don't hate me.

I'm pretty sure there have been less actractive actresses who have managed to get a screen kiss.

She's not that bad lol!! Although her character is quite unappealing right enough so I do kind of know what you mean.
I also used to fancy Mark Moraghan in Brookie, in fact he still very attractive. Don't think he would look twice at me in real life but id like to think he could manage some on screen smooching if he was being paid enough! |

What a shallow and unpleasant post. Aside from the fact that there is absolutely NOTHING physically wrong with Sue Cleaver, a good actor would be quite capable of doing a romantic scene with somebody to whom they are not attracted. That's why it's called acting.
I could understand being put off if an actor was a horrendous human being "in real life" or if the storyline was utterly ridiculous (Peter Barlow and Tina for example!), but based on looks? Nope. |

I thought the new love interest was compromising his sense of humour to fit Eileen's crap sense of what's funny.
Dull, dull, dull. |

Eileen's fine & quite funny at times, she's actually always been one of my favourite characters!! Personally, if i was an actor I would find it a lot more difficult having to pretend I was attracted to a character like Tracy who is basically unlovable!! Some may find the character sexy but spitefulness, vitrriol, hatred & dishonesty are very unattractive in my book!! For the record if we are going on looks allne I would far rather have a snog with Eileen than Liz!! Lol!!

If I was a good actor, I could. To play a murderer, you don't have to be a murderer. As another forum member posted above, acting is about pretending to be someone other than yourself.

If you're professional and it is required then it is done.

Not being rude per se, but that's probably the correct medical terminology. |

He's no George a looney himself. Plus the fact he's incredibly annoying. I wouldn't of thought I'd say this but I think Eileen could do better! At least she's got a great sense of humor. This guy just seems a bit cock sure of himself and he's just boring.

The man that she is paired with is not exactly drop dead gorgeous either.
