To me Rachel isn't acting any different to how she was introduced. Granted she's apparently more clever than I gave her credit for, but she's always been a user who is out for herself. The handouts she's had off of Jai all because she had his child. It's a good job I hate him too.

I hope Dan stays though. I like him and Kerry together. Wouldn't miss Rube and Ali.

I agree, when she first came back to testify against Charity and catch Jai out with the fake Archie stuff, she seemed stronger and independent, not taking any nonsense of anyone, no matter who it is. Now, her bitterness against Charity is making her petty. Belle hadn't done anything wrong to her, yes she may have scared Samson while she was undergoing her relapse at the farm, but she was trying to make amends for that and Rachel was making sniping comments at her before Belle had even left the psychiatric center. Ok, fair enough, she was worried about Samson and Archie, but there was no need for the dig about leaving the welcome home banner up for when she next has to go away for treatment. And now utilizing Belle's illness to drive a wedge between Sam and his family.
I agree with everything about going away to save Sam from prison, but I don't think there's any excuse for her manipulating Sam by using Belle's illness. Even when Belle had walked in, she could have slyly have put the pills back where she found them, she didn't have to go through with it all. And to be fair, I hate Ali as a character, but she was being fed the lies from Jai about her being in rehab and that he somehow got Archie back from her. Rachel had had no contact with anyone in her family and she was depending on herself to get by, for all Ali knew, she could have fallen into addiction. I miassed that. What a nasty trick. I didn't like her attitude last week when she found out Zak, Lisa and Noah had visited Charity. Zak and Lisa are the closest Charity has to parents and Noah is her son. They thought, rightly or wrongly, that she has been punished enough. Rachel doesn't have to like them visiting but she can't demand that they cut Charity off. She's made her opinion clear, Sam and her will have to deal with whatever they decide to do. She's got every right to be concerned about her son and Samson, but she's hardly given poor Belle a chance. Samson's bright, he'll realise that he doesnt have to be afraid of Belle.

Hey hey hey! He got her up the duff. He's 50% responsible for the Mini Beatle. He can pay and keep paying, as far as I'm concerned.

Rachel didn't hide Belle's pills, Glendarroch. She took some out and threw them away, then put the rest of the strip on the chair where Archie was sitting,to make it look as if Belle had been negligent in leaving them about. She then took (pretended to take) Archie to the hospital 'in case he had swallowed them'.

I don't like the way they've changed Rachel, but I am glad that she's come back to put the whole Sam/Charity and Archie/Jai stuff to bed.

Tbh this storyline confuses me
![]() Charity did a really despicable number on Rachel but everyone seems to have forgotten about that. The Dingles were originally disgusted when they found out what she had done but now they are all 'Team Charity' and are treating Rachel like she's dirt - it's like they have all forgotten what Rachel was put through and I don't get it. I also don't get why Rachel is now a right pain in the backside, I can't remember her being like that before. And that thing with the pills was just bizarre ![]() Is this leading somewhere? Anywhere? ![]() Noah wants to see his Mum which is fair enough and they facilitated that. Lisa was sensitive enough to agree to lie to Rachel about it but she pushed and pushed and got the truth and then decided to take revenge about it. Quote:

but of course Belle is a saint, nothing despicable about killing your best friend. Rachel puts people in boxes and has such extreme over reactions. Ashley's evil because he hit Sandy. Jai's out to crush her because he's rich. Now no young child is safe from Belle and Rachel has to prove it. |

Belle did a terrible thing but she had no intention of causing serious harm. Rachel has stolen a very strong prescription and deliberately used it to inflict distress on someone who is very ill and vulnerable. She could have caused a lot of mental harm to Belle doing that. Belle having committed a terrible crime in the heat of the moment is no excuse for Rachel to target her when she's ill, especially when she herself is not really the one Rachel is angry with. Personally, I can understand her being concerned about her son's safety - but if she's that worried she should move out, or keep. Archie in her and Sam's room. No need to resort to petty tricks.

I can't stand Jai either but he should be paying for his own kid. Rachel did take advantage, but he treated her like his dirty little secret and thought that she was as materialistic as him and could be bought off. I liked it when she realised that he wasn't the evil Lord of All He Surveyed and she milked the situation -at least she was standing up to him. As usual though, she could have just told him where to go and got the CSA involved right from the beginning, but it was far easier to let him push her about and for her to play the victim.
They're both equally horrible characters who have treated each other quite disgustingly and I could do without either of them on my screen. The child is used as a pawn by both of them and I only feel sorry for him in all this (well i would if it was original Archie and not this fakeArchiethat'stherealArchie nonsense) |

Well I never said that Belle is a saint but at least what she did was an accident and not a pre-meditated attack on someone. Y Don't get me wrong he's obviously got to pay for his childs welfare, I don't dispute that one bit. But he has given her a house rent free, which she then moved her sisters family into (which Jai allowed them to stay in even after Rachel left with Archie) and even strong armed him into employing her unqualified sister into a place of management. I find it amazing the the Dingles are held up to be saints. How that Lisa can always take the moral high ground is astonishing. She is so nasty and unforgiving she makes me cross. And I wish someone would take her to the hairdressers.

Rachel was put on the spot when the Dingles asked her about the hospital tests. It won't be long before she goes in my opinion. Setting up Belle for "leaving the pills lying around" was disgusting. I can't wait for Jai to ask about the incident and imaginary hospital tests. How will Rachel get out of that? Also as Archie didn't have the missing pill Rachel will have to explain where it's gone.

I thought they were looked at with disdain if anything. Rachel clearly thinks she's a cut above now.
