Did Lisa and Zac back Tracey I must say I missed that and I've missed them treating Rachel like dirt. Lisa took Noah to see his mum in prison. That seems reasonable enough to me and she was even civilised enough to lie about it to Rachel so as not to annoy her but of course Rachel had to dig to find out.

I really think resorting to tarnishing Belle's name in the way she did was both pathetic and stupid. She has a house why on earth doesn't she just go there and toss her family out if she wishes. I'm sure Sam would join her in time.

If I was Rachel I would never have returned to the village where I was so badly treated let alone shack up with the man that really doesn't appreciate her and live in the house of her tormentor's family.

It astounds me that the Dingles do want Sam with Tracy, this is the woman who left him with massive debts yet they would rather have her than Rachael. Idiots.
Rachael left without a word but don't the thick Dingles realise she did what she did to protect Sam who she adored. Their skanky niece Charity forced her out to protect her and Declan in their insurance fiddle. Pity they can't discover it was their lovely Charity who tried to stitch Sam up in the first place.
Lisa is doing my head in the way she carries on, poor Rachael is getting it from every direction even her sister who appears to be turning against her.
I wish the producers would let Sam and Rachael be happy. Their story lines are all over the place as it is.

I really think Sam needs to man up and leave home. He can't have it both ways. He lives in his parental home, within reason he has to follow their wishes. He might have to accept that they'll never like Rachel, or over time they could get on better, but he's really not doing anything except whining.

The whole Ali thing was very contrived. Ali would have been more likely to pat her on the back for wangling more money out of Jai. I think that Ali is just generally annoyed with Rachel (as well as being worried sick about Sean)at the moment because she has been quite bitter to her, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I can't say I have noticed the Dingle's mistreating Rachel in any way. Lisa took Noah to see his Mum in prison. Rachel found out and took it out on Belle. Rachel doesn't have a leg to stand on.

I'm not saying the Dingle's have a great moral code but they are not in the wrong in this case.

What upset Rachel was the fact that they kept the prison visit secret. I would have felt the same. Okay it was Sam's idea, but something like that is hurtful. What Lisa forgets is that if Rachel hadn't calmed Samson down and got the truth out of him they would not have found Belle in time. Selective memories! And why do they all seem to have taken against little Archie?

Lisa didn't want to lie to Rachel though, as you say Sam made her and Rachel wasn't bothered about the lie as much as she was bothered that Lisa had taken Noah to see Charity. How can she expect Noah to be denied access to his mum just because she doesn't like it. She was in their home out of her own choice. She has to lump it basically or get out of there which she has eventually done, trying to trick Sam into doing so also

Neither Lisa or Zak have been horrible to Rachel and in fact it's only her own sister who has lost patience with her.

I agree that Rachel's attitude towards the prison visit was awful. Fair enough she hates Charity but she has no right to force Charity's own son and the family who love her from visiting.

I DO think that the Dingles were harsh on her initially. She didn't set out to break Sam's heart and she was trying to save him from prison but she has made the situation far worse with her bitterness to everyone who she thinks has let her down (except Sam who she forgave in double time although he only searched for a few weeks, then soon replaced her)

Reading all of these posts it seems to me that you either love her or hate her, like Marmite.!! I like her and I hope she has the sense to move on with Archie. I do not like bullying and that is what is happening, she can do so much better for her self,

You see I dont think she is being bullied. She has fallen out with her sister. She has been just as obnoxious to Lisa and Zak as they've been to her - there's fault on both sides.

But yeah, I think she is a marmite character. They must be doing a good job of writing and acting for her when she's provoking such a strong response.

I think that bullying is perhaps too strong a word, but the constant snide remarks especially from her sister are very wearing. It is the sort of thing that happens in the school playground. But it has been a good thread. I have never forgiven Lisa for the way she treated Emily. Nasty!

What did Lisa do to Emily? I missed a lot around that time, so I never saw her leave, although did it not have something to do with Debbie getting rid of Sarah? Emily was going to take her I think? I liked Emily, though. Itwas nice to have a younger character who was old fashioned and a bit eccentric. I can understand Lisa being angry with her, but tbh I thought they put too much pressure on Debbie to keep Sarah. Lisa's another one who had a very simplistic attitude and seems to paint people as 'good uns' or bad 'uns - except of course her own lot

From what I remember Emily helped with the birth and afterwards did pretty much all of the caring for Sarah because Debbie wasn't interested, Cain said she was interfering so Emily decided to move away and Debbie begged her to take Sarah with her, which she did. She went to Ireland - where all Dingles on the run go.
I have no idea what Lisa did. I can't remember anything involving Lisa at all.

I wasn't what she did so much, it was one word. Emily brought Sarah home, then went off to be a vicar. Everyone even Andy, wished her well, but when she said to Lisa that she wanted them to part as friends, Lisa just said 'Tough'. It said it all to me.

Who is this 'poor Rachel' of whom some of you speak? I don't recognise her. The only Rachel I've seen in ED is the 'lying skank' (to use a choice phrase that has been bandied about) who slept with another woman's husband when his judgment was impaired by alcohol and she was stone cold sober, then went along with lies about her baby's parentage for the sake of money, blackmailed the baby's father into giving a promotion to an inexperienced, illiterate - risking the livelihoods of many people.

I've never liked her, and like her even less now.

I can't agree. Jai is a hard nosed business man who only ever does what suits him. He wanted a baby and Charity refused to give him one. He was drunk, but so was Rachel when they did 'the deed'. She was prepared to have an abortion and as I remember it he was the one doing all of the lying. I sometimes wonder if I am watching the same program as others, we see it so differently.

I agree completely. I've always loathed her.

I dread to think what Archie will grow into as Rachel is nothing more that a hard faced user who has milked the fact she had a baby with the owner of a factory for all it's worth.
