Cora
Fast becoming my all time favourite character of any dramatic media, televisual, spoken or written word, or otherwise.
Storming into the pub and giving that horrid Linda woman a right good dressing down before turning on hypocrite Mick, I absolutely loved it. Hope she spits some more poison at them on a regular and frequent basis. |

She has always been a nasty piece of work and a scrounger.

I agree. Cora should set fire to Mick and Linda's bedroom while they sleep.

J-B you stole the thread I was going to make myself.
The woman has gone from an extra to iconic in tonight's episode. Daring to stand up to the glorified Carters must take some balls considering how much the production team love them, but Cora was the one to do it. What a legend! 'Not everyone revolves around your family', fantastic Cora, but make sure you let DTC know that aswell .

I've changed my mind, I despise the old hag and wish her a painful and prolonged existence living in a pile of her own fag butts in the gutter.

And she was magnificent tonight. Absolutely brilliant. Bloody Mick seemed to think that all it would take was a sorry from Linda and Cora should be OK. FGS, no matter how long she was with Stan she was his FIANCÉE, she mattered to him and she should have been told straight away when he died. Can't imagine how it would feel to go the hospice just to find out he'd died and no one had bothered to tell you. The Carter's are so wrapped up in their feuds they can't see or think straight and as a consequence this woman was treated very shoddily. |

Can't stand her as a character, as someone else said - nasty old scrounger. And I would have loved the fact that she tore a strip off the precious Carters had it not been for the fact that it was too out of the blue. Either she has had these feelings about them all along and kept quiet, not even a hint of dislike up till now or it was purely all hot air, words said in the moment but not meant.

Ooo, I normally can't stand Cora but I will go and watch her scenes on Iplayer, it'll be good to see someone have a go at Mick and Linda, it's about time.

None of the Carters bothered to tell her that her fiancé was dead... It's about time someone stood up to them, as they clearly think they're above all else. Bravo Cora, bravo. |
