I find the Carters from EastEnders mind numbing, boring and forced.

They are practically shoe horned in everywhere . and not a week goes by where at least one episode is dedicated to these over rated bores. And as for Danny sodding dyer
Is there any news of any of them leaving?

I am sick to death of them so switching off the show AGAIN....
Well at least until i hear of Kathy Beale's return

How many more 'I hate the Carters' threads are there going to be?

Fast forwarded most of their scenes tonight.

Can't even hear what they're saying most of the time.

Vile family.

I wonder if people would be complaining if these threads were "I Love The Carters" threads.

The threads complaining about them are more tedious than they are. DS should start to merge and need to remind users not to create multiple threads on the same subject. There's loads of threads the OP could've added their post to.

I'm really not one to complain about multiple threads but I just don't think it was necessary to have yet another one of these threads.

Actually, I find the opinion police more tedious. Don't like it - ignore or alert the thread. It's not that hard.

I would be! I find these duplicate EE threads really annoying. I've specifically said EE as there are very few duplicate threads for the other soaps - people look to see if there's already a thread on the subject they want to post about and if there is, they post to it.

I don't have a problem with people not liking the Carters and expressing that. I only have an issue with lots of similar threads cluttering up the forum. I keep forgetting which ones I've read/replied to and which I haven't.

What the hell has thread bumping got to do with this?

No, I don't moan about there being multiple threads, because I know how much it annoys me and other people. Multiple threads is such a stupid thing to moan about, and it's always the same two or three people.

It's obvious that the OP doesn't post here often and probably didn't look down the forum before he or she posted. Don't spout abuse at them just for the sake of it. It's rude and belittling and it's something we don't need here on this forum.

Multiple threads on the same topic make discussions much more difficult as like L said its hard to remember which thread

Look at the message box on the side, then. If it's blue, you've replied to it, if it's grey, you haven't replied to it.

I used to like them but it has become a case of over egging the pudding. I knew this would happen as its always the same with EE, they flog something to death until everyone is sick of it.

BIB: So far there are five of us on here who have commented on duplicate threads - who knows, there may be more in due course. Even if not, it's still more than two or three.

No, I mean, as in, the people who spend more time slagging off other poster's opinions than actually posting their own (not including your good self there btw).

Fair enough. I understand multiple threads can be annoying (moreso as Andybear has posted, when it's thread after thread on the same subject cluttering the forum when you don't particularly care about the soap in question). But I don't think it's the end of the world. I just think if you care enough to complain about it on the open forum, why not alert the mods to the issue and see what can be done. I personally wouldn't cos it doesn't bother me that much, what I do is just ignore it.
