They have been given more than their fair share of storylines but they aren't that bad. I like them, but I think that soon, Mick, Shirley and Linda, need to be in the background for awhile.

I've alerted the mods a few times about duplicate threads over the years and they have been merged. Unfortunately it doesn't stop people starting duplicate threads.

All I'm saying is if people think moaning about multiple threads will somehow solve the issue then they've got the wrong idea. In fact they've got the opposite idea.

I do hate everyone branching them as one. It's
Mick, tina Shirley and Linda shorted everywhere but Shirley and Tina work whereas the others don't although Linda through Sharon and now Kat can improve. Mock brings the family down and needs to go. Have Dean kill him off and Dean sent down. Two birds in one stone. Might also improve Linda make her likeable and allow lee and Nancy to grow away from his charcater.

Im a fan of the Carters and as the owners of the Vic they are going to be a big part of the show whether you like it or not we all dislike things about the soaps we watch but we have to deal with it at the end of the day.

On the subject of multi threads i think all Carter related stories should be merged as everyday i come on her all i see is threads about the Carters.

I like them There is a lot of them and they own the Vic so I do expect to see them heavily. Sometimes it can be annoying where they are in scenes that isn't needed just for the sake of being there.

Not sure if it is just recently, not much of a facebooker but had a look on EE page and a lot of posts and pictures were carters. Whoever runs the social media accounts seem to be Carter crazy sometimes

@Andybear, no worries. It's really noticeable when CS and EE both have fairly big episodes on the same night, and I must admit on those occasions I've found the EE multi-threads noticeable and jarring to an extent. But then I think back to the many wondrous threads I enjoyed battling it out in the great Leanne V Carla debates and I wouldn't have missed any of those threads for the world! So yeah, I may be a bit of a hyopcrite.

And yes, I think a big fat anti-Carter free-for-all would be a great idea! With the opportunity for pro-Carters to make their voices heard too, of course..

I honestly don't get the reason for the threads after every single Carter episode on this. Surely this breaks the rule on duplicate threads? I hate how Kat has been written for years but I don't write a thread about it every single time she acts vile, it's counter productive.
