I suppose he needed something for Roxy and Charlie to do whilst Ronnie was in a coma. Sadly, he chose for them to do each other.

I honestly absolutely hate it. I loved Charlie and Ronnie as a couple because it just felt like Charlie genuinely loved her and she loved him back. Now obviously this affair has thrown that out the window. I know Roxy has past too but her betraying her sister like that again just isn't right, I wish this storyline would be stopped in its tracks soon, I really do.

Nope, really hate it.
It is repetitive of Roxy with Jack and makes Charlie in particular seem very shallow. Them getting close due to shared concern over Ronnie I get, maybe some feelings of transference due to Roxy being so hands on caring for Matthew. But to suggest that he loves her more than Ronnie and he wishes he'd been with Roxy all the time. Yuck. |

It's actually almost as bad as Who Shagged Kat in its sheer implausibility and stupidity. I genuinely believe the Mitchell sisters have exceeded their shelf life now.

The problem with Roxy is she will never be a main player and as a secondary character she has no tale. She is not shown to have any goals, being a parent comes secondary and she has so little going on that story lines with her sister or men is all she offers as a character. Even the idea of her is false. She is portrayed as a funny, party girl but I cannot even say that this is true. Her "funny" comments have become increasingly bitter and have followed the Kat and Bianca path of putting others down for laughs. She is not shown to go out or doing anything wild, in fact she does not much of anything. I do not believe Charlie really cares but I already know we are going to have to watch weeks of Roxy feeling oh so guilty which I really do not care about her guilt, she brought it all on herself. After my rant I will admit that I do believe Roxy and Charlie had chemistry as friends. They could have been fun together but this "love" they feel for each other is embarrassing. Him saying that he wished he met Roxy first is also obviously shoe horned in there so we will believe that these are real feelings instead of two peoples selfish actions. He had a one night stand with Ronnie and then she moved away. During this time he had no idea that Ronnie was pregnant or would even return, she was in no way coming between any relationship that would have formed. During this time Roxy and Charlie became friends and lived together and gave no indication that it was any more from either of them. The whole story line just really annoys me because I do not know a way that it can end well for any of them and I did like them all as individual characters. I also believe it will continue as if Ronnie is what is stopping them from being happy when it is Roxy and Charlie that caused it. |

I don't like it I would rather Roxy and Charlie were paired together from the start, Ronnie has never shown any chemistry with Charlie I think she needs a nice but bad guy Aleks could have been that but I think Vincent will be Ronnie's man.

It's not just a recycled storyline but they're doing it with the same characters, guarantee Roxy preggers too just to top off the ridiculousness of it all.

It is doing my nut in. I'd be happy if it was dropped and never mentioned again. Not looking forward to it going further at all.

They could have made it more plausible if we had seen more of Charlie's sense of isolation and more of Alec playing the insensitive mate.
I can just about understand how Charlie could have become emotional dependent on Roxy over the past three months but we just haven't seen it on screen. I can also just about believe that Charlie now think that he may have rushed into marriage with someone he barely knows because that is, in fact, what happened. But, he hasn't come over as someone who doesn't accept responsibility for his actions, so I would have expected him to stick by Ronnie and try to make a go of it. This storyline comes over as a device to allow Ronnie to have a relationship with Vincent at some point in the near future without the audience hating her (or him). Roxy is presumably considered more expendable. |

I like the fact Roxy is on screen more, but I don't like this storyline at all, I really liked Charlie and Ronnie together, Ronnie was happy, now she wont be, I think she should just turn lesbian.

It's bad but i haven't liked anything Charlie related. I do not like the character and the actor has been crap anyway.
I felt back in love with Roxy when they paired her with Aleks but they ruined it by having her hook up with another of her sister's blokes. I hope Ronnie gives her a good hiding when she finds out. |

While it's not exciting and it was preidctable I still prefer it over the constant mick and Shirley storyline. Although I find Charlie's change of heart strange.

Its awful, while I have never really liked Roxy as a character this act makes her a truly callous horrible cow, to do this to her sister is unredeemable.

I really do hope that they get Ronnie & Vincent together - they seemed to have good chemistry and he seems like the type of guy Ronnie needs, not a spineless worm like Charlie evidently is. |

It's awful sorry. Really one of the most forced, tacky and unneccessary storylines.
I don't see any chemistry between these two either besides the deceit and their looks. It's just flat and uninteresting Ronnie and Charlie had something a bit edgy sweet hopeful and likeable. |

I've enjoyed Roxy lately. She has more chemistry with Charlie than she does with Aleks and Rita's acting has been better. I agree that Ronnie will be better with Vincent.
