EE: The Cokers struggling for ££££ ?!?
dinbin

The scene between Pam and Billy was a smack in the mouth by DTC. One minute he is portraying the Cokers to be skint, so skint that Les couldn't even take his wife out for a meal on their anniversary. The next bloody minute he is in Gran Canaria!!! Then there was buying the necklace for Donna's adopted mother.

Please, don't insult our intelligence!

He's out there with Claudette. She might have paid for it?

But how would old man Coker explain that to the missus? It was only last month he was so broke he feared the business was at stake.

She Thinks he's gone with his mates so she probably assumes one of them paid?

Yes, even that crossed my mind that the holiday could have been paid for by his friends. However, this is not the only time when this happens. It happened with Kat, apparently they were totally skint and what does she do, goes out on the piss.

I suppose with any soap, EE should be taken with a pinch of salt.

You know what Pam's like. She didn't even clock on when Donna said that Claudette was there as well.

And Gran Canaria isn't the most expensive place to visit. You can go there for a couple of hundred quid. It's not 5 star in the Bahamas.

Pam and Donna talking about how Les and Claudette should meet up was possibly the funniest scene I've ever watched of the show.
