HUMAX HDR-1000S SKY News Channel only...Cannot Pause, FF or Rewind
On either Live, or recorded programme. Jump forwards, and jump backwards not working either, just on Sky News 202 Just happened this morning 14th April 2015 ALL other Channels, and Channels recordings, functions are OK, I can Pause, rewind, and fast forwards, and jump in both directions, on both live & recorded items I have done a 10 minute power down, still the same on Sky News The Recording menu shows the correct settings, as before. And it's the same on 3 Sky News recordings today !! Is this a devious plot by Sky News to stop fast forwarding, or jumping past adverts ? I don't think it's a box problem, I think Sky News must be not be transmitting some essential data. Info shows correct recorded duration, but as above, cannot do anything with it. Extra: Noticed that Sky News Video does not appear in the small window when you go to plannings, just some sort of broken circles, other channels show OK |

Thanks for confirming that...
I've emailed Sky News, for whatever good that will do. I don't have a clue what a .nts sidecar file issue is !! And a quick Google leaves me little the wiser !! Presumably it will be sorted eventually. One interesting point, even though Sky News Video was watchable, and recordable, when I was going to replay a recording, it said "Listen Now" When I came out of that, and tried again, all I got was normal Video and Sound playback. A reason why I back up important recordings on Freeview, and use BBC iPlayer also. Though I can't with Sky News, we are on a "Freeview Light" local transmitter |

Try Googling AV2HDR. Incidentally the issue isn't present on a Foxsat-HDR (Generation 1 Freesat), so issue is likely to be at Freesat and only affects G2 Freetime boxes. |

The plot thickens - There is now two channels 202 on a Foxsat-hdr. Both on same transponder one classified as Radio and the other as TV. Explains your listen now.

I seem to have the same problem on my 1000S. Pressing pause gets the box to jump a bit and it displays the bar that tells you how much of a buffer you have, but it won't pause
Although even on BBC News it seems to take more than one press to get it to pause, so maybe my universal remote is playing up |

If you put box into standby and then turn back on again the pause/FF/RW & little window all work as normal.
