I have recently got an iPad as a present, and I love it to bits. While I'm in love with my new gadget, there is one thing that is really annoys me. Recently I've learned that everything you download on your device, be it an app or a book, is forever stored remotely in the cloud and can't be deleted by user. Earlier, I've downloaded a comic book Hero Turtles because I wanted to see how it feels to read a comic book on an iPad.
When I wanted to delete it, it only deleted it from my device but it remained in the cloud, and I could only hide it in my iBook app but not fully delete it from the cloud as well. It would be logical for Apple to allow users to delete anything they want from their cloud storage if they want to. Also, this practice invades the privacy of everyone who has an iTunes account, and allows sinister people to hack into any cloud account, and it allows Apple to collect data of users and sell it to third party advertisers and who knows who else and for what purposes. I know that Apple is not the only one doing this, but it's surprising how governments are turning a blind eye to this, while on the other hand, we have some other stupid legislations that suppose to protect our privacy on the internet, but nobody wants to deal with Apple, Google and other big companies that invade our privacy on a daily basis, and we have no other choice but to agree to that.
