Why did they split?
Was it because of darren hayes wanting a solo career?

Have they had a huge falling out?

Will they ever get back together?
They made some amazing music.

Apparently (again from Wiki) Daniel Jones only found out they had split up when Darren announced it

Don't know if it's the truth, but an Aussie friend said that Daniel was never comfortable with doing interviews and all the media attention and just wanted to be in the background. I guess Darren thought he may as well go solo in the end.

Darren Hayes also said in a interview that he wanted more money and more of a say In the music he was singing so forced a split .

Because Darren Hayes wanted to make more shite music on his own.

I think the real question is why didn't they split earlier?

With over 23 million sales I'd say you would be in the minority thinking that.

Surely they didn't sell 23 million with 2 albums and their singles?

They were in love, broke up, and went their seperate ways

Songs like: On The Verge of Something Wonderful, Black Out The Sun and Insatiable are not "Shite"

In fact, the whole of 'The Tension & the Spark' album is bloody good if you ask me.

Daniel left...Quit , It all happened in japan prior to the release of affirmation Darren did all the endless photoshoots,magazine interviews,press junkets, meet and greets,tv and radio interviews.. totally alone. to try and promote this album for the benefit of them both.

Darren was asked by a reporter, if they had split, and Darren said yes!!!.. Daniel was asked and he denied it, knowing full well that they'd split, Darren took the blame for the split...
