EE: DTC scraping the barrell with his latest plot - "will Tamwar get laid"??!
I am not a hater, in fact EE is usually the only soap I watch, but we all know that things have gotten dour recently. Now awful plotlines like Tanwar's sexual frustration are taking up our screentime, I just think DTC has run out of ideas.

He has.
He only planned EastEnders from December 2013 - February 2015. He did a great job, but we seriously need fresh direction. What gripping plots are there ATM and what gripping plots will there be over the next 6 months? Kathy probably won't be back until September, far too many new cast members are being brought in and the storylines are really bad. |

Another hyperbolic thread despairing over DTC and EastEnders. How very original.

I agree with the OP. Too much heavy focus was put into the anniversary and Carters, when in actual fact, viewers want consistency, not a big chunk of drama every once in a blue moon.p |

It's a soap forum, so if you're unhappy with the threads that are being created, then you know where the logout button is... And also, it's sarcastic, bitchy people such as yourself who weigh this forum down majorly! Whatever happened to expressing views without either being ridiculed, patronised or being show blatant disrespect?!

You know what? You're right. It is a discussion forum.
So what exactly are you discussing then? All I see day in, day out, is the same old rants and essays about how the Carters are the scum of the earth and how DTC has done this, that and everything. Not to mention the arrogance of some who act as if they know what the majority of the audience want to see. Sorry, but unless you've taken a comprehensive survey of the majority of the show's 5-7m strong audience then you can't possibly be able to tell what everyone wants to see. I think what some people fail to notice with me is that I do not go after everyone who is negative about the show, because not everyone feels the need to air their negative opinion every hour of every day. |

I care about Tam. I am far more interested in whether he gets some happiness than who Max beds next.

And most certainly sick of thé carters ! |

I like Tamwar, always have done so am interested in his romantic life. I also like nancy,, think they'd make a good couple and have beer rooting for them for some time.
I find it preferable to seeing the destruction of Aleks, Charlie and roxy's characters with this awful love triangle. |

It's a little more than "let's find Tamwar a shag" tbh.

This is a lovely little storyline that had played out for a while though. I like the fact a masood is getting a look in too. Nancy and Tamwar are lovely.

They've had a positive response in the episode discussion thread. They are a good pairing.

I think they are a great couple and enjoyed their scenes tonight. It seems that they are getting a good response on Social Media too

I'd bet my life on the idea that Afia is one her way back to disrupt Tamwars efforts with Nance. I hope to God she is, Tamwar had genuine chemistry with her, she should never have been axed.

Tamwar is such a boring character, endlessly miserable. Hopefully Nancy finally puts a smile on his face.

I think that Tamwar is a good character. I'm glad that he is getting some focus. It's long overdue. Also, I think that Tamwar and Nancy are great together, so am looking forward to seeing more. Like someone said, it's a bit more than a storyline about Tamwar getting sex. Quote:
That's not the storyline at all. Tamwar is Not Max. He doesn't jump into bed with anyone. He clearly has feelings for Nancy and that's shown for ages.

Hey, come on, it's a very important issue that we are facing today in society, especially now with the General Elections coming up. I feel EE has a duty to represent those in desperate need of getting laid
