Jesus Christ how many more times will Cora "leave" only to either come back or be stopped at the last minute.

I think she could have left at the end of her contract. (She joined in April 2011)

There is no official word on whether this is it or not.
If she is leaving I will jump for joy, Cora is by far the worst character on screen at the moment but sadly I think this is just another fake exit.

The only way we'll know it is fake, is if the BBC brings out a statement saying "...but has Cora left for good? Viewers will have to watch and find out."
That statement is just a synonym for "Cora will return next month".
I predicted Cora would be leaving at the end of Ann's contract. It's all part of The Kickwood and Oldman Conspiracy Theory
Hope Cora doesn't leave for good. One of the best characters on the show in my opinion. Ann is a fantastic actress and deserves a good story.

I hope she isn't leaving, I'm sure someone said Ann had been unwell she has had a lot of scenes lately so hopefully it's just a break.
An East End native, a brilliant Actress and a complex character indeed- no official line from DTC or EE on this or on twitter/facebook Ann is nearly 76 and has been on screen a lot recently so hopefully it's a break If Cora has been axed to make way for Claudette I will not be happy.
Cora has absolutely no reason to stay anymore as they us no links to the square bar Abi (who she never has scenes with). It would make sense for her to actually be leaving this time seeing as how her contract ends in April.
Is she actually leaving? I thought it was just the age old scenario of a character announcing they are leaving, only to stay...or come back in a month or two?
Wouldn't be a massive loss if it were permanent, but this is probably just a break where she goes off to visit family and then will show up in a few months again.
