How people could like a character who had a go at a greiving family just because she wasn't told that her boyfriend who she had known for about 5 minutes died.
Because the "grieving family" is the insufferable Carters and finally a character broke away from the new normal of Carter worship to give that self-obsessed family what-for

Absolutely despise Cora with all my heart, I hope Abi gets a phone call 2 weeks down the line saying that Tanya chucked Cora out and she died cold, miserable, and alone in the gutter.

I'm not a fan of cora either, though the actress that plays her is fab! She'll be back though, if she knows stan's secret she'll have to come back to spill the beans!

You're being far too lenient there J-B. It does you credit to show your good nature, but in cases like these you shouldn't reign yourself in.

Add "covered in rats and overflowing sewage" and you've got it.

Nice one Pands. I knew that if anyone would pick me up for my humility, it would be you. My lack of creative storytelling ability really hampers my ability to think up a more apt fate for the Cora woman, but you've filled in the gaps I had so clearly overlooked.

Thanks.

It's called a joke Vaslav. If you can't take a joke then maybe you should leave the forum

I will be so upset if she had been axed! The likes of Mo get to stay!
I doubt Ann would have been axed. Even DTC's stupidity does not stretch that far.

I hope Ann will return to the show. An asset to the show. A great actor. Walfords finest.

Thank you West End Boy.

Some posters really have been far less complimentary on here.

Well some on here are clueless and would not know a good actor/actress if they fell over one!

Nobody said DTC was axing her.

She could have decided to leave at the end of her contract, which is coincidentally this month.

That is a fair point, but I think we may have heard about this? Ann has had a very varied career and perhaps does not want to be tied down to this role and a continuing drama.

However I do hope this is not the last we see of Cora. The square would be a much poorer place without the likes of Ann.

I am biased anyway as I am a huge Ann Mitchell fan, going back to the days of Dolly Rawlins. She'd crush your nuts and shove em down your throat, which is what some of you beggers deserve.

It looks like it's a break.

Doesn't Ann take a couple of months off a year?

I don't think DTC would axe someone of Ann's calibre. If she's leaving, it'll be announced after next week's episode and it'll have been her choice.

People here acting like she's Helen Mirren, personally I'd rather see the back of Cora.

So will I. She has abi and lexi still around. They need tl mix her in more. It's a shame the wedding never went ahead as I'd love to see her in the Carter fold but she does need a daughter ASAP.

If DTC keeps the likes of Laila Morse and axes Ann Mitchell then my view of him will drop considerably.
I agree
