You can get the box set of Widows and She's Out from HMV. I think you could more than likely get them from Amazon if you don't have an HMV store near you. I've never tried ordering from HMV online and don't know if you can but I'd imagine it's possible.

Ann's hair as Dolly was enormous.

I really believe this is just a break for Ann as there is no news on her departure and my source has said that he heard no news about Ann leaving the show and that source has known Ann since he was a child.

I actually really like Cora and I'm so glad that the lady who plays her has had so much fantastic material to showcase just how good she is again recently. I really don't want Cora to leave permanently, I know there's not a massive amount tying her down to the square but Tanya will be back some day and she has Patrick and Dot as friends, I don't want to see her go just so soon!

I really don't believe she is going, she has been fantastic recently so I am sure its just a break - she is nearly 76 after all.

Who said she had been axed?

Jesus.

And FYI, Mo is a matriarch in the making. Mo, Stacey, Martin, Rebecca and Lily are a ready-made family. Please stop making out that the likes of Mo, Roxy and Billy are bad characters just because you do not like them.

Mo has always been awful partly because Laila Morse is a terrible Actress. Billy has improved of late and I am thinking they could now actually kill off Les instead of Billy and bring in Paul's Mum as a potential partner for Billy as well as a business partner for Pam. As for Roxy its the writing as she has been written as a one dimensional character whose who existence revolves around men! Rita Simons is nowhere near the calibre of Sam Womack as an Actress but she deserves better material than what she is she is getting that's for sure so no I would not axe Billy & Roxy now but Mo for sure.

Mo beats Cora any day of the week. Cora is a dirty whore.

I've grown to like Mo. She was awful a few years ago but has improved as an older character. I'd like to see her finally get a real man instead of all the jokes about her sex life.

I think Mo has just been badly written as a comedy character. If she is given something like a new fella she could be refreshed.

Yes she is. Maybe not yet, but she will be. Cora will die an ugly horrendous death.

Finally. Hopefully it is permanent. Nothing against the actress, just never liked the character. Too obnoxious and lacking substance. A forced attempt to create a "battle axe" type character. Not the actress' fault.

Cora was a fantastic character, unrivalled in dramatic televisual media, sadly hampered by the ham acting and poor work ethic of Lady AmDram herself, Ann Mitchell.

That was Pat, not Cora.

Has Cora been selling her wares as well?

Rubbish - Ann has been a professional Actress since 1958 and had worked in theatre, film, radio and television. Ann is one of the most respected actresses in EE.
