They haven't really explained her current state.

She obviously remembers Roxy, and seems to know who Charlie is. But does she remember everything that happened prior to the crash? Does she remember her wedding to Charlie and does she know that Matthew is her son?

She seems aware Matthew is hers which is a let down for the story tbh as it looks like she got told off screen but remembers.

I really think there should have been a scene focussing heavily on Ronnie meeting the baby. Him being quietly passed to her in the midst of lots of other stuff happening was pretty crap.

I have a feeling she knows about Charlie and Roxy.

I agree. She didn't seem phased at all by the baby.

Instead they're prioritising with the Roxy/Charlie affair, rather than Ronnie's recovery. The latter is a far more interesting story. The Roxy/Charlie thing is beyond awful.

yeah rather than focus on telling a story with Ronnie bonding with her son she was desperate for they instead focus on the stupid affair plot.

Again, all the recovery has been missed off screen. They don't seem to be able to portray anything over than family clashes, affairs, deaths and pregnancy these days.

Anything potentially interesting seems to happen off screen these days. Why show something different or original when you can just concentrate on the same old scenes on loop?

Supposedly DTC loves the character Ronnie, he has a funny way of showing it.

They should've had Ronnie not believe that Matthew is hers

Agreed or keep her in the coma until she's back full time or shown it a while ago.

She seems to remember.

Is Sam back filming yet? If not we can expect to see very little of her recovery. I don't know why they bothered to bring Ronnie back, she's been out of the show more than she's been in it.

Apparently she filming Mount Pleasant for 3 weeks, hopefully she will be back full time and no more large breaks.

I think she remember and is biding her time while she rebuilds her strength.

Are you saying it could be another 10 weeks before she's back full time H.

I'm assuming she is filming MP now. It's only for 3 weeks apparently so it might not even be that much of a dent this time. Characters can go missing for a couple of weeks anyway. I am assuming though that she will still be in hospital to cover this.

Rita posted a picture of them recently but no idea if they were on set or not.

Ronnie's recovery has been handled absolutely awfully so far. Her finally getting better is being treated as nothing more than an obstacle in the great Charlie/Roxy love story. Ridiculous.

Yeah, why tell a heartbreaking story of a woman, (Ronnie) missing months of her longed for child's life and not being able to hold him, care for him when you can tell a horrible story of her sister betraying her again, and a dull, repetitive love triangle involving a couple that no one seems to care about. <roll eyes>

Before this week I thought the last time we saw Ronnie she was hooked up to a machine and/or drips. I recalled they did switch the machine off to see if she could breath for herself but she still had some kind of wires connected to her. This week she had no wires and if you didn't know what had happened to her you would have thought she had just had a sleep rather than not long coming out of a coma.

I agree with those that have said it would have been nice for us to see her meeting Matthew for the first time.

I'm not sure such flexibility with the actors is a good thing for EE
