z3 compact, may have a good option?
I'm after the z3 compact, however there aren't any deals that appeal to me at the moment. A shop near me (Grainger Games) has one, I think it's locked to O2, for just under £250. Second hand, but with their highest rating condition-wise.
I can then continue on either the sim only deal I'm on now, or start a new one with O2, who I think have some decent offers? The thing that put me off buying the phone outright and then doing sim-only is the price of the phone itself is about £429. Does this sound worth looking at? O2 have a 12 month sim only for £18 that would suit me perfect, 2GB data and unlimited everything else. Say I were to sign up to this for 2 years, in order to compare it easier, would be about £680. A similar deal, but a full contract (inc phone) would cost about £30 a month over 24 months. (£720 in total over 24 months ) Is it worth it for a second hand phone? Or should I just wait until the prices drop on the contracts, when the Z4 is out? |

Do a google search as you can find new Z3 Compacts for not much more than that second-hand price. I've had mine since Sept last year and its a cracking phone - best I've had, and yesterday it upgraded to Android 5 Lollipop.

Its available for a lot less than that here. And being on giffgaff should mean it works on O2 too. If you want it on another network I think its quite easily unlocked through O2.
As for the phone, I've had one for six months and think its superb, especially considering the price. |

The phones from giffgaff are unlocked anyway, so you could use it on any network you wanted

Try smartfonestore.
It is a good way to gauge the price. Their A1 look new whilst a B grade will be 'excellent'. People buy the Grade C too ! |

Highly recommend the Z3 Compact, it is without doubt the best phone I've ever owned. Build quality is definitely a cut above the rest. Battery life is phenomenal.
One caveat, buy a case immediately as the back is quite slippy. I bought the rugged case-mate which is quite rigid with a soft inner liner. Bit more expensive than many cases but well worth it. Their Tablets are also very good. Many reviewers put both the phones and the tablets up there with Apple. Personally I put them above. |
