So the Armstrong family is back to where It started...Izzy!!

The difference being, back then she was a new character with potential for all sorts of storylines!!
Can anybody honestly tell me now where you think her next storyline will come from?

She was only connected to Anna & Faye through Gary & Owen, both of which are gone from her ( barring sporadic scenes with Gary & little Jake!!)
She's been an ok character, reasonably competently acted by Cherylee Houston but I really don't see Izzy destined for anything except making up numbers at the factory & just being there as the token disabled character!!

Any Izzy fans out there think you could write storylines for her??

when it was clear that katy and owens characters were leaving, maybe they should have just got rid of the armstrongs.

kinda got a feeling we havent seen the last of owen though, if izzy was to get married, he would be at the wedding.

She may decide that Faye's new daughter needs a pet and she remembers Flash and goes off to Weatherfield tip to search for him and she vows not to come back home without him.

She will be gone next i reckon.

The character has served her purpose. I always thought that she should have been killed off in the bus crash. She really is just a glorified extra nowadays.

if they felt they needed a disabled actor, i would perfer them making sam pernament sineads hospital friend.

The actor playing Izzy has played the role well. But with the break-up of the Windass-Owen's, I don't see a storyline for her. I would like to see the whole family leave and a new family come in to the show.

Everyone talks about Ellie Leach (Faye) being the worst actress in the Windass / Armstrong clan but IMO the absolute worst is Cherylee Houston (Izzy). Can't act for toffee

She is not just a boring character but the actress who plays her is a terrible actress, too.

Also, she looked every bit of her 40 years last night, as she said goodbye to her 50 year old father.

I thought that too!! She would have been the ideal candidate!!

Must say the answers I'm getting here are pretty much as I was expecting!! Some characters who people call boring & spent on here just need good writing, but I honestly don't see any real future for Izzy as a character!!
