There has been threads on this before but I couldn't find them so I started a new one!

I used to love book club. Denise, Zainab, Heather, Shirley and Jane. (Was Tanya involved?) I would love to see it make a comeback - we still have three of the original book club members on screen (maybe more if I am forgetting anyone) and I am hopeful for a Zainab return one day - would anyone else like to see it back? Or something similar?

I would also like to see an equivalent for the male characters, we have Charlie, Mick, Buster, Vincent (soon), Billy, Ian, Martin...

They need to show Fatblasters more. And the guys should have poker nights more often.

I'd like to see more Poker nights for the guys but I didn't really buy into 'fat blasters'. I much preferred the dynamic at book club.

I agree. I doubt fatblasters will be traded in for the book club. DTC seem awfully proud of his creations.

I never got the appeal of the book club. It tended to be a bit of a snobby affair...I can remember them not wanting the likes of Bianca and Roxy there.

I think they should form a mixed sex dart team.

I kind of agree. It was kind of snobby. I'd like to see anything gif we've never really seen before like a swimming, basket/net ball teams. Football,
Poker and darts have been done a lot as has book club. Fat blasted was good but it hasn't been seen for a while but I'd love to see more new teams/clubs

I loved book club!! Bring it back with Jane, Denise, Linda, Shirley, Kat and Queen Ronnie!! Can you imagine the sparks flying between Jane and Denise and Kat and Ronnie? Plus I think Ronnie has been really isolated since her return, mainly interacting with the Mitchells, she needs some good friends now.

If Zainab and Tanya return, I want to see a Jane, Sonia, Linda, Sharon, Carol, Shirley Tanya & Zainab book club.

Ronnie & Kat aren't really the type of characters who'd involve themselves in that. Ronnie really bounces off Roxy. I do think Kat needs some more friends though!

The Murderers Club is still going strong. Pam, Ben, Phil, Abi, Stacey, Ronnie, Dot, Roxy, Bobby. McBeale is an honorary member too. Alfie and Mick have had a go but they have to finish the job if they want full membership.

This thread is about the book club.

Also, I must of missed the episode where Roxy went up to Emma, called her a bitch and stabbed her in the face.

I can't imagine Ronnie or Shirley at bookclub. I didn't like fatblasters and the majority of them didn't have any fat to blast!

It's a shame. The Albert has oodles of potential. We were told we would start to see the edges of Shoreditch creeping into Walford. So far - nada. Shame. Hopefully there's more to come.

I loved book club I wish they would bring it back, a darts team would be good for the men, I like episodes like that now and again I was one of the few who enjoyed Mick learning to swim last year.
