One point of confusion - didn't Pam say once that Paul was at university? Or did I just make that up in my own head? The article says he's been working abroad as a holiday rep.

Either 21 or 22. I'm 22, going to be 23 in October. I forget when his birthday is though. He must be 22 by now I think actually.
He was working alongside Daniel on in the heights My son trained with him |

This is the only one that was unnecessary and the answer could be found else where first, extending it to threads that you start which have already been made, and this isn't something you made a few minutes after the news was out, this was hours later, there's a whole lot more. |

I'm all for new characters joining soaps, but ATM EastEnders just aren't getting it right. The development of their new characters has been awful for about 5 years now, bar the odd one or two.
The Carters especially are excluded from this matter, they're at the other end of the spectrum! .But, Kush, Donna, Les & Pam, etc... Have all been developed so awfully. They appear on screen every few weeks for a few episodes, with a weak storyline and we're supposed to care. Why can't big characters come in and make an impact/mix with established characters more/be given but storylines within weeks or a few months? It's a bit of a joke tbh. Sort it out EastEnders... If you're going to bring in Les & Pam's grandson, don't expect a lot of viewers to care, as we don't really know Les & Pam ourselves... Maybe, this will make them more interesting. I just hope Paul's arrival doesn't pan out like this: Comes to Walford with a shocking secret Disappears for weeks Reappears as a lot of viewers vaguely remember him (Plenty have probably forgotten he has a secret) Secret is revealed Everything is then fine and dandy, just a couple of days later Disappears for weeks Reappears and fancies someone Disappears for weeks Reappears and kisses someone So on, so on... |

Helps les and pans development tbh. Dtc needs to stop giving Carters screentime (well the main carters). We also need Lola to actually have a storyline. I have a feeling dtc will ace her when her contract runs out next year. |
