Joking aside he needs to address the absent cast for long periods before adding any more

I hope Paul is generally likeable as a character, regardless of who he may or may not be paired with.

I don't think the article in anyway suggests Paul will be a ladies man.

I'm pretty sure this implies he'll be gay, coming onto the square confident in his sexuality and he will "receive romantic attention from one resident in particular", being Ben.

The article only says he "sets one heart in particular racing", with Kush they were specific in saying that he sets the heart of one female resident in particular. Definitely think Paul will be gay and he'll get with Ben.

I even think if Lola was the one who's heart was racing for Paul, he'll fall for Ben creating tension for Ben and Lola, and revisiting the Lola/Ben awkward parenthood...especially with Kathy coming in. She'll be a grandma dealing with killer grandson Bobby and stuck in the middle granddaughter Lexi; perfeclty lots of material for a classic EE returnee character on top of all the potential Sharon/Gavin stuff
