It seems to have been pulled by both EE and Amazon.co.uk?

Is there a problem with the phone?

Many thanks.

Ok, thanks. Actually I have now seen this answered in the Wifi Calling thread. EE are having software problems with the device.

Have a look on Amazon.co.uk - only third party marketplace sellers are offering the Lumia 640 - Amazon themselves were selling it with a dispatch date of 18/04/2015 - but have now stopped. There must be something wrong with the phone.

Think XL was always shipping a bit later.

Was after the 640 myself, the XL is a bit big for me. Wish EE would get their finger out.

FYI I bought the 640 dual sim version from Microsft Germany and it cost me £118 total.

It is part of the firmware on the EE version.

I was wondering about this.
I assume it works the same way as the Android handsets.
It must have an EE branded version of Android or Windows Phone for WiFi calling to work.
We have established it's possible to flash an EE version of Android onto an S5 or S6 (by using a borrowed EE S5/S6 serial number to trick Kies into thinking it is an EE phone)
Anyone know if this is possible with Windows?
