Just to let you all know that last night I received an update to Lollipop on Three. Not had a chance to really look at it yet though.

On the XperiFirm software I noticed all the UK firmwares for the Z3 jumped forward to Lollipop a couple of days ago - hopefully the Z1 Compact's update will similarly follow within a couple of weeks...

(IIRC This means they should all now be up-datable on PC Companion)

If you're on an unlocked (sim free) phone, and have a 3 sim in it, tethering may not work on lollipop. This is due to the way they are setting up APNs to detect tethering traffic, except unlocked phones didn't receive this APN, so tethering doesn't work at all!

It's a bit fiddly, but if you know what you're doing, you can get round it...

Tethering didn't work on my Z2 on lollipop, I did this method, and it works fine now, and doesn't seem to be detected by Three, as the limit on My3 is not going down..

If I run this on the Three UK firmware on the Z3 will I get past the tether block?

Edit: Nope.
