It's very frustrating too, cause she's actually a cracking little actress, and is just as capable as the likes of Stacey, Lauren and Cindy at carrying a big story.
It's such a shame, she used to be a major player. And was a ray of light during that awful Phil Mitchell/Lexi thing.

Last we saw of her was a few weeks back I think with her whining about Lee going away. Powerful performance of hers, again showing how udnerused she has been

Yeah I remember that. But that was a while ago now. Anything could of happened to her since then!
I really like Lola. I want her to have a big storyline where we get to see her a lot. It's a shame she hasn't been used and certain other characters hog the limelight. We've seen Billy so why don't we see him with Lola?
I suppose both Lola and Whitney have had massive storylines in the last 5 years...not every character can say that (although a lot of them are new). I think the problem is that they aren't even in the background. Stacey hasn't had a storyline, but she's done a lot since she's been back - Lola and Whitney need to be used like that, not left off-screen altogether

You have little chance out with these three, although who has been given Lauren's screentime”
Nobody has been "given" Lauren's screentime. You don't assign each character a certain number of minutes that they are allowed to be on screen each week.
Lauren left because she went on maternity leave. She wasn't written out and nothing was changed.
Lola is currently searching for her biological parents, who she will find in the autumn, her father sadly died at the hands of Chrissie Watts, but her mum, who had also died, isn't really dead and returns to meet her. (Kathy)
If there's one character on their way out in Eastenders who hasn't been announced yet it's Lola. Her storyline with Jay was a dead end, she's barely featured or even mentioned on television and I'd be very surprised if her contract was renewed. I wonder what the reason behind her character not being pushed is though, I always thought she had so much potential.

The producer just doesn't rate her, That is all it takes when you aren't a long term legend (Even then you aren't always safe)
