That YouGov poll was conducted on 15/16 June, so the day before & the day of Jo Cox's death.

The poll conducted yesterday & today should be released at midnight.

You all ways get these types of bounce when something happens in a campaign but will slide back . It's a reaction to events as time passes people tend to move back to their original decision.

Or people thinking again what kind of country they REALLY want to live in?

I don't want people to change their mind because of the this murder but I think it may have made the mind of undecided and changed that of some who wish to vote leave.

This has however created a false dawn as voting leave would not lead to a country fall of facists......

Is that all yesterday and today? Or some of it on or before Thursday?

I thought it would of been a bigger leap to remain. I still think remain have it in the bag now. I nearly had hope leave would win. Ah well, looks like were be going down with the sinking ship.

Definitely think the anti-immigrant tone hasn't helped Vote Leave's campaign the last few weeks.

I don't know, I personally think it's what helped them pull ahead in the polls. But it went way too far. And I can't see them going back to it over the last days now.

There's a lot to play for turn out for one. Plus this small bounce is nowhere near enough to say its over.

To be honest, the only opinion polls worth taking notice of now are those conducted from yesterday onwards.

People may well have got 'cold feet' in any event the nearer polling day gets.

What frustrates me is the thought that one madman could sway things. If it is really close on the day- say 51% Remain, the feeling will always be there that one madman changed the course of history.

I am now expecting a Remain victory, not only because I don't want to be too disappointed come Friday morning but I do think looking at the polls it is clear that Jo Cox's death has caused a swing.

It's quite sad if finger pointing and guilt tripping over the actions of one hateful individual ends up being significant to how people vote. It will also lead to a lot of anger afterwards I fear.

I'm voting Leave and will be proud to do so.

Remain will win though.

I also fully expect things in EU to go bad and many undecided voters who voted Remain will blame Cameron and Conservatives giving Corbyn a swing in votes

My idea of the four horseman crystal ball prediction if we Remain.

If it is a very close victory for Remain, certainly I think some Leave voters will feel quite robbed due to what happened. This has spurred up emotions on both sides, but particularly among those wanting change (as in the indyref), and I can't see it ending well.

Even if Remain wins, it will be in the region of 52% - 48% at best. With such a small margin a lot of people will claim the Jo Cox murder had an impact and UKIP support will instantly surge from all the disheartened Leave supporters.

The issue won't go away, at all.

That's what I'm worried about. Once we vote remain, that's it. Nothing will change, the EU will continue to become a superstate, immigration will not drop and angry, disgruntled voters will surge to UKIP. Nigel Farage being PM would be my nightmare.

In other words the country will be even more divided.

Not that Remain care.

I assume opinion polls factor in that those who want change are far more likely to vote (because they passionately want change) whereas Remain might be less determined to vote come what may.

A 1% margin is absolutely tiny though, you couldn't predict anything based on that.
