Abbott said on Sunday that in a year's time Labour's poll figures would be up and that they were a real challenge to the Conservatives.
Well I supose if Theresa is recorded wearing trousers made from human skin, then it's a possibility

Trousergate - I doubt if any of Cameron's suits cost as much.

Maybe Labour should start holding Monthly Leadership Elections.

The only time that Corbyn seems to wake from hibernation is when he is fighting his own party.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/238377...g-leaked-grid/

All he's got on this week is a "Concert for Corbyn " on Friday

It has to be the most pointless and trivial story of the year.
Huge problems and issues facing the country but the big event is a pair of trousers!

Even without them, I do not give much for his chances, who has he got from the remaining rabble in his party. All he has that believe in him are the remnants from a bygone age of unionised one-track mind, flag waving, drum banging, chanting, marching has-beens.

Mainly ex- miners and shipbuilders with a huge chip on their shoulder and a grudge against anything that is not Labour through and through,or tainted with the red flag, and as years go by these followers are all dying off, hence the lack of support for Labour They are just a dinosaur party living in the past.
Up here in Sunderland it's been nearly 30 years since the last sizeable,e shipyard closed. And most ex-shipbuilders moved on with their lives decades ago. The found new jobs in new industries. Now a lot are of retirement age, or have died and the only ones who seem to bemoan the loss of the shipyards are the local historians.

Remain are now the Official Opposition.

Ipsos/Mori would be much better employed recording movements in each of the Remain, Leave and Regret categories.

Surely you need a separate split between remainers who accept the referendum result and remoaners like the Lib Dems who don't and want a second vote!

Labour could still end up in government soon, even under Corbyn.

Coalition. I think it's the most likely option actually.

I think Labour is more likely to end up in Government under John Smith and he is dead.

The Liberals positioning themselves as the Remain party has really paid dividends, plus they are picking up disenfranchised Labour supporters as the party descends into irrelevance.

At some point they might reach the dizzy heights of 15%

Looks like the people in Scotland think Sturgeon's doing a good job with a net approval of 27% (compared to a rating of -54% among UKIP voters)

Opinium is trying so hard to make UKIP relevant, you gotta admire their optimism.

Opinium were the most accurate pollster in the 2015 election and their final Referendum poll had leave ahead.

MORI had remain up by 52 to 48 in their final poll.

Should we not take more notice of pollsters who have a recent record of getting the results right?

Tories falling a little as well though with UKIP still third despite being a shambles right now, but could be an outliner until we see others polling more or less the same numbers.
