It really is. The amount of suffering we've caused them is beyond shameful. The amount of extinction humans have caused... ugh.
Oh god, I was thinking of watching it, I didn't know there was animal cruelty. So it's genuine cruelty? I sure as hell won't be watching then.”
I only watched the first season. Animal cruelty isn't in in all the time, but it is featured. it's the type of show where you can't be sure if innocent kids & animals will die in some horrid way anytime. The show does not shy away from sex, violence & injustice & shocks. I had enough when a horse was slaughtered. It's thoat was slit & blood sprayed everywhere. Supposedly, it was a sacrifice done to save some war chief's life!!!

Sounds horrible. I don't mind violence towards people, especially since it's often very stylised and doesn't look all that realistic, but towards animals... Ugh. And there sure as hell is no excuse for genuine cruelty. If you can use make-up and effects and whatever to fake awful things happening to people then you can do so with animals.

Awww no, I'm sorry. Poor Benji.
I've got the ashes of my cat, Cleo. It's helpful to have her with me.
Fair enough, I've no desire to see that either.”
I'd own a zoo if I could. Though I wouldn't lock them up like the zoo does.
It does help. You have a sense they are still here. Binx took it badly when Benji died. He was sad for a long time and was walking around meowing while looking for him.
I am curious about it but I don't know if I could handle the scenes killing animals.

I loved Ringer. Mind you I love Sarah Michelle Gellar so much she could fart the alphabet on a unicorn and I'd think she was amazing

I've had it on my planner but haven't got round to it. I might give it a go and if it gets too much I'll switch off.
Sacrifice to save the chief? Well that's alright then.
I can handle blood and have watched different ways of people being killed but I always feel uncomfortable when an animal is killed. There's a scene in American Horror Story where you are led to believe somebody microwaved a dog buy thank **** that wasn't the case. It was still uncomfortable to watch though and I questioned if I could watch anymore. Thankfully nothing like that has happened since.

Liked Sarah Michelle Gellar work in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ringer, Cruel Intentions and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Ringer should of gotten 2 or 3 seasons the show had potential.

I still love Buffy all these years later. It's a show that never gets old. I think Ringer could at least have had another season.

I watched Heroes but stopped some time into season 3. So much happened in season 1 that they couldn't follow up.

Watched all four Heros seasons a few times first series was great the rest just got boreing and repeteing the same story over and over again but telling it differntlley. The other seasons didn't have a good villain like Sylar was they just kept turning him evil and good it got silly.

Sylar was great but they turned him too cartoon like.

Same. I'd give them much, much more space and freedom but still have a boundary further away to keep them safe.
Yeah. I do feel kind of guilty for moving on though. I mean, I was
crushed for the first couple of years afterwards, it was pretty much the worst time of my life. I couldn't even imagine feeling alright again. But it's been five and a half years now and I'm ok, I've come to terms with it. But whilst I'm glad to feel better, obviously, I feel bad for being ok.
Oh the poor little thing, that's heartbreaking.
Same.
I love SMG too. I think there's probably still a lot of stuff she's in that I've not seen, though. I've only seen Buffy/Angel, Cruel Intentions, Scooby Doo and I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Quite.

Glad Zachary Quinto got work in other things he's quite good as Spook in the new Star Trek films.

Hi my beauties!!
The actual plots in the show are interesting. Season 1 ended in a right shocker, but I decided not to watch anymore of it because I did find some things upsetting. I really don't like to watch things with animal cruelty or child cruelty in. It really upsets me. There will be people in that show you loath. I absolutely loathed this character called Joffrey in it. The show features loads of sex, nudity & violence & people are extremely ruthless in it. If any of you do decide to watch, I'll be interested to know what you think of it!!!
PS/ I'm sure the cruelty shown is effects, but it looks real & I was upset with that horse scene!!!

Marianne give Bates Motel a try I think you may enjoy it.

Also catch up with the rest of the 100 season 2 it keeps getting better.

What I wish is that if a channel decide to axe a show they at least commision a couple of ep's to round things off. It's not fair on the viewer who's invested their time in the show to leave a show on a cliffhanger.

Thank you for the recommendation lovely!!!
At the moment I've started The Vampire Diaries & have only seen half the ep of the pilot so far!!!

Unfortunately though, it's bound to be missing most of the character's from the original.
I actually thought they should not have axed it especially as it also finished on a cliffhanger. I liked the show but was put off by some of the personality transplants in it.

Your very welcome Marianne If you do enjoy The Vampire Diaries check out a old horror comedy thriller called Fright Night (1985).

With Hero's coming back now called Heroes Reborn just interested in seeing it, I enjoyed the show and the seasons it got boreing. With none of the characters coming back from the last series nothing to do with not wanting to watch Heroes Reborn I just moved on from Hero's.

It took me a long time to get over the death of my dog and doubt I ever will but it gets easier at the same time. You remember the memories and it can make you happy and sad at the same time.
She's very good in The Grudge and I've always meant to check out The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams.

He's also good in American Horror Story Asylum.

I'll give it a go and let you know what I think. I have a strong stomach but unnecessary cruelty done for no reason puts me off. The sex, nudity, violence, incest and people being dicks don't bother me. After all that's just a standard Hollyoaks episode

Exactly! Unfortunately networks will never think to do that.

I've seen Prom Night along with Terror Train, The Fog and Halloween. Jamie Lee Curtis is the ultimate scream queen for me.
