With enough skill and practice, yes. You can go to shops and buy these tricks. The doves are specially trained. He's not the first magician to do tricks with doves. Do you even understand the concept of magical entertainment?

They said the bear trap mechanism would snap shut after 60 seconds. You cannot set a rope to burn through in exactly 60 seconds.”

I have never and refuse to ever believe any escapism act is false.

Really? You can watch videos on the Internet which show you how they're done.

Now this is an act that should have been on the main show, not ITV2.

I'd never seen it done before and I doubt it's a easy thing to learn like you're making it out to be. It seems every trick on this forum is a 'off the shelf trick' (which I'm guessing means a basic magic trick anyone can do - I very much doubt that is a case with the doves).

Why weren't these trapeeze artists on the main show?

I believe whatever they rehearse in a rehearsal (no doubt they rehearse it) is fake and what's done on the night is real personally.

I'm not saying it's easy to learn, far from it. It takes a lot of skill and practice to do. When I say "off the shelf", I mean that you can go to a specialist shop and purchase them. You may not have seen it before, but I assure you it's not original. Magician's have been making doves appear from thin air for years.

I think the sad thing about magic tricks is more and more people are out there trying to disprove them (or magicians are actively telling others how they are done). I suppose the idea is to push magicians into tricks which seemingly don't have an answer to them but I don't know if it's paying off.

It's no wonder the show sticks to 'safe' singing and dancing acts.

Was the puppet magician intentionally getting it wrong or was he a Tommy Cooper fan?

I really enjoyed both BGT and BGMT!! Have to say that Ant and Dec make the show! Them throwing the cards at the wrong time was hilarious!! 😄 Also love their friendship with Stephen on BGMT! I really enjoy seeing behind the scenes and seeing all the judges interact and Ant and Dec! The part with the lights going out at the end was so funny! 😄
