Prices are the same just the offerings have changed. You can get the 20 extra channels without a recordable box for £5 a month OR for £10 a month you get the recordable box, 25 extra channels and tv everywhere.
Thanks for confirming , so I was basically correct the entry price with a recordable box has increased by over 30 %. I guess someone has to pay for the expensive football rights.

The entry point (i.e. for new BT TV customers) for a recordable box is now less, even when you spread it over the first 12 months, and then you can cancel if you want. Because the previous £35 activation fee for TV Entertainment is free for Entertainment Plus.

More for less (but the discounted intro offer for TV Entertainment has gone).

So its still more then on a recurring monthly charge ? I only save in year 1 ? Nice to see activation free though.

The £2.50 a month increase costs you £30 over the initial contract period. But you save £35 on the zero activation, compared to last week's price for a lesser package (though the year-one discount offer has now ceased).

Who knows what it will all cost after a year, your guess is as good as mine... but you are then free to cancel if you like and if you do, you will still have a recording Youview box (unlike with Sky).
