For goodness sake a young boy getting so many negative vibes. Shame on some of you!!!! I think he has so much potential and good for him having confidence. Comments here are awful to read at times and please think about if you was 12 yrs old?

Oh big deal. It's not like people hate the kid, they just found him to be a bit annoying, i did too. If we can't treat the kids like we would any other act then maybe kids shouldn't be allowed to be on the show.

Henry moved well on stage while playing the guitar but not the right choice of song for someone of that age.
Entertaining though comparing to the other singers and I wish him luck....

He was good, but that's it

But he wasn't even pretending to play the guitar

There is much better talent out there, but good luck to him

Exactly. He was singing along to a backing track.

Did he even know the girl he fancies? Thought he came across as rather cocky TBH with the "Make some noise!" stuff, dont know why.
Ronan Parke meets Olly Murs. Frightening.”

The song was okay, but the kid singing it was really arrogant, smug and annoying.

I can see it making the live shows (possibly the final too), but I certainly won't be voting for it.

I am sure he will be fine once he has finished his confidence classes.

He was great, I'm not sure if he genuinely did write that song though...

I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out Ed Drewett wrote it.

call me cynical but I too, wonder whether he was soley responsible for such a song

I wonder if his dad is musical or has some musical mates who have lent a considerable hand

Who's Ed Drewett?

I enjoy watching BGT, it's very much light relief for me but the manipulation used on this show is SO blatant it's practically in your face. The kid was puke-inducing and so was his performance.

Normally when a person comes on stage with a guitar in hand and he performs you actually hear him playing the guitar. On this occasion you could barely hear the guitar, it's so simple because he wasn't really playing it! Add to the fact he was drowned out by a professional sounding intstrumental backing track. Really?! It was a professional backing track! Where would a 12yo be able to get something like that from? He just handed it in to the people backstage to play when he come out on stage? Yeah right! It was all set-up from the start! I'd have more respect if he just sang and played the guitar for real.

BIB: Totally agree. At least that Ryan fella from last year played the guitar himself.
Also the kid ripped of Ryan's story

Doubt if he'll make it to the finals, there'll be too many better acts coming along
I hate it when singers shout" Hallo Manchester....."

Oh, I'd say he's sure to make it to the final. I thought he had a decent voice and the song was a pretty good effort if he really wrote it himself (which I'm not too sure about). I don't really like child acts, though, with very few exceptions. The only one I can think of was that Welsh boy who sang Who's Loving You? at Michael Jackson's memorial. I must admit I found 'Come on, Manchester, make some noise!' a bit offputting. I think he made a big mistake there. That moment might well have lost him the win. Also, he hopes this girl will go out with him now, but he's twelve. What does going out with a twelve-year-old boy mean exactly?

He has 50% chance to make it to finals
