Me too, also it's a shame there's only one King brother left.

Yes! Although once he and Chas split up, he didn't do a lot and never really had much chemistry with Megan. The live episode was a brilliant ending for him if he had to have one.

Yes, I loved him! The era of the Kings was one of my faves.

He got a great exit though. "I'm invincible!"

I liked him, but was glad to see him killed off. Chas and Carl kept going round in circles, splitting up and getting back together, which was boring. It was a controversial decision to kill off Carl, but I personally agreed with it. I couldn't be bothered with more Chas and Carl.

I liked chas and carl though I get why people didn't. As annoyed as I was at him being killed off at least he got a great ending noone will ever forget as it tied in with the live ep

Carl was one of the best if not thee best character that Emmerdale has EVER had, it was a travesty that Blackburn killed him off. I still believe it was sabotage

Yes, Carl King was a great character and the show definitely feels a lot different without him.

I loved the affair he had with Eve (back when affairs were done properly.)

I liked Carl but I felt he was written into a corner really and had run his course by the time he left.

He went from being quite a complex and likeable villain to an out and out nasty piece of work.

A shame.

Tom Lister seems to be doing well in theatre these days though.

He was until he was completely ruined in his last year or two. He became utterly vile and detestable while having loads of screen time, by the end I was sick to death of him and relieved he was killed off.

I liked him, he was very nice for a philandering, treacherous multiple murderer.

Carl was never used properly as the writers just became obsessed with pushing Cain as being the biggest and the baddest. Same old really just like Eastenders with Phil Mitchell. There is no room for others when they are around!

I miss him and I didn't realise what a good character he was until he died. Without a doubt one of my fav male characters from ED.
