Fingers crossed it'll be Debbie and Cain. I'd go back to watching if those two oxygen thieves were dead and buried.

That Mirror article talk about Robert, Chas, Debbie and Marlon being killed off. I will be extremely shocked if they are the ones to go. Robert and Chas particularly still have a big part to play in current storylines.

Disappointed if Robert is a favourite to go. Ryan Hawley has been fantastic on Emmerdale and is one of the strongest actors the show has right now. I know Robert is a killer, so I suppose he is on a limited time. I think Kate made a mistake making Robert a killer, considering what a fantastic actor Ryan is.

Laughing at those odds though. Chas, Debbie and Robert, most likely to be killed off than Marlon.
It's all journo-spin. Probably someone read DS today and judged on comments.

Nobody is safe according to The Sun which said: "Bosses are planning a clear-out of characters. No one knows if they will be axed."The news has made the cast nervous as nobody knows who is set for the chop, with rumours rife that Robert Sugden , played by Ryan Hawley, is the favourite to go in the summer storyline.
Another second-hand report.
It's highly unlikely that a cast member could be axed while still under contract especially out of the blue. with no notice if they haven't committed some 'crime' such as leaking info., being highly disruptive or being charged with a serious offence.

I didn't realize there was already a thread on this before I started a new one. But anyway I think a cast blood bath is a really bad idea. They had a serial killer in 2013, Donna was killed in 2014 and Katie was killed this year. That is way too many deaths already. Also Days of Our Lives tried something similar about a decade ago where they had the shows's main character Marlena in some sort of possessed state kill off a dozen characters, the story line proved unpopular and failed to raise ratings so they rewrote story to undo all the deaths. I could see this story being equally unpopular and since Emmerdale is reality based they won't have the luxury of being able undo this story.
You forgot Robbie who died in between Donna and Katie.

I like Pete but I can take or leave the character. I don't want him to die but if he did my reaction would be 'Oh no. Shame. Right what's for tea?'
You would be devastated because Debbie would also be devastated.

You better hope for your sake that isn't true. If it is, I'm blaming you for wishing it

I'm not sure she would lol. It's only Pete

Well if it happens we will find out if she truly loved him or whether she was just with him because it was easy.

If they kill Cain, there will be hell to pay!
Keep Chas, Zack, Paddy, Rhona, Brenda, Rodney, Andy, Debbie. The rest can take their chances!

Oh! And all those fm's who wanted Katie to die - i hope your favourite character is rubbed out this summer!

I fear that Debbie will be killed off. Especially with the triangle with Pete/Ross moving forward.

I suspect Debbie is indestructible. Like a cockroach.

Surely there's no way Debbie would be killed off? Not unless Charley Webb has decided to leave but she's always seemed happy to stay in ED long term when she's spoken in interviews. ED are lucky to have her as she's a great actress.

If there was a nuclear apocalypse, Debbie would emerge from the radioactive rubble, straighten her hotpants, and still blame Andy for not picking up the kids.

*runs swiftly away*

Would you rather watch more boring characters like Vanessa and Karin? I wouldn't.
