I can tell a lot of these comments stem from jealously... I personally find the actor to be good-looking and although I would agree with his acting not being 5*, it's definitely not the worst out there!

Some people need to realise that slagging another person's appearance isn't clever, funny and it just speaks volumes as to what type of person they are. I am not a big Corrie fan, but Callum is one of the few reasons why I have bothered tuning in.

I ain't gonna change my views & pretend I find him in any way convincing as a bad boy actor but I certainly aren't going to diss his physique... chiefly cos it's actually quite similar to my own, though I have less hair ( head and body!!!)

If callum weren't kylie's ex/ max's dad they'd be best of buddies they've the same sense of humour ...but callum needs more layers we need to know more of his background. It was great seeing his mum (even though she was better pouring pints in the grapes!) But hes starting to get more and more like a sleazy dick dastardly 2 dimensional cartoon character if we dont start digging into his backstory.

Why has Ken, the landlord (can't remember his real name offhand) never had a part in Corrie, he'd be brill...or has he at some point?

What I don't understand is why people on this forum seem to obsess over sexuality. The character is evidently hetrosexual... Why should you perception of the actor cloud your thinking over the character? If the actor was gay, what business is it of yours?

I think the actor is straight, people just seem to think that his delivery is slightly camp. Personally I don't see it, I think Sean Ward is a decent looking guy and he can act, if his current storyline weren't so tedious I'd say he's a great addition.

The camp voice would turn me off more than his body but he is too thin and excessively hairy. Not keen on back hair myself.

I don't get this camp stuff, it's only on here I've ever heard anyone say he's camp.
Personally I think he's a good actor and very good looking. But I agree, it would be great to get more of Calum's back story.
