Trailers and actual show

Sorry but I have a quick question which may not really need it's own thread and may even have been answered but as the search facility has gone for a burton I thought I would ask it here

Do we actually get to see all that is shown in trailers ? For instance at the end of the show on Sat 5th it showed us what was coming up in next weeks show, and also during the week leading up to the show of the 12th , we saw trailers with Alesha standing up and shouting to someone to get off the stage as though something horrid was happening. Yet when we got last nights show no such scene appeared in it. I have noticed that a few times with BGT and wondered why

Doesn't the caption say 'Coming Soon' rather than coming next week? I don't think they ever claim it's coming up in the very next show just that it's coming up in a future show.

I was about to say the same.

Which is unbelievably stupid. IMO everything in the 'COMING SOON' parts should be acts coming in the next episode.

I disagree maybe for a tv drama that's the casebut they need to keep good acts til the later auditions and still tease people with them so people will keep watching. I remember Ariel on x factir 5 was in the coming soon trailer for most of the auditions

But it's very misleading when the acts seen in the coming soon don't turn up.

I suppose it does but it is made to seem like that is on next week especially when they advertise the next episode during the week with those same clips

I'm also dying to see who Alesha was yelling at to get off the stage.

They will eventually though. "Soon" is not definitive

You might find that acts that are shown as way of preview, are NEVER actually shown. During two separate BGT shows, there has been two different 'behind the scenes' clips of a woman talking to a red merle border collie - I guarantee that we will never find out what they actually did. Same for the skate-boarding dog.....
Its is the same every year .... who knows why the show is edited as it is? Maybe it's because they think the audience are a little dim.....? Certainly some of the editing this series and the acts they have made a big deal about - Hypnodog comes to mind - would confirm this!

Despite the word 'talent' in the title of the show, it is an *entertainment* show, first and foremost.

Well we have now had all of the audition shows and unless I missed it I never saw the scene where Alesha shouts at someone to get off the stage despite it being in nearly all the clips for the show and advertised as coming soon. I wanted to see who had annoyed her so much.

they must cut and edit stuff out..In the X Factor they leave it in..it's so much better and more exciting than the show

There's still one more audition show.

I remember that a year or so ago there was one preview clip seen repeatedly, of a woman diving into a giant champagne glass prop and that was never shown.
