Probably because the force is not strong with this one.

New international trailer released - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTl_Tt3dhPw

A few new shots, including Vader.
That shot of Vader at the end looks like it's just a suit on display. Like they recorded the suit on a stand just so they could put it in the trailer. It certainly doesn't look like a part of the film.

Still not feeling it for this.

Too gloomily-shot and clunky dialogue. Vader + cloak emerging from the mist looks slightly camp too.

It's probably a film element before they put a proper background on, or removed to prevent spoilers. The shot of the Death Star hovering over the planet looks like it's a different planet to the previous trailer.

Look at the neck, there's no one in the suit and the hand doesn't move at all as it turns.

Maybe he has a closet full of suits, and is selecting one - like Batman.

I think the only way for Star Wars offshoots to work for Disney is if they are unconnected with the original trilogy.

Rogue One just seems pointless to me.

But imagine an Obi-Wan trilogy in an original adventure, it would be quite a fun thing. He takes a six month holiday from Tatooine to go search for something mysterious from his past. Liam Neeson cameo of course.

seems very probable, that they can address, the fatal flaw from a New Hope

as Jyrn says, in latest trailer, there is a way to defeat it, you need to capture the plans

Galen, is under duress, to build it, so, he, he builds in the fatal flaw by design and perhaps, in order to protect it, only tells his daughter, there is a way...

rather than expounding on, it exactly

as for Jedi,'s, we also have an exhaust point, but, there is a biger more complex system of tunnels this time, impossibly cramp, and a massive armada and a deflector shield, so you won't be able, to, defeat us this time

the empire, were just a little too arrogant for their own ends the 2nd time, but I guess, there are example in history of such, ignorrant belief, in the power of, technology

Booked for first showing at the BFI Imax, then realised it wasn't in 3D.

Took me ages to book due to the Odeon server crashing again, but finally booked for the 0:0:1 showing at the IMAX.

I've just booked my tickets

Odeon limitless for a midnight screening and only cost me £3 bargain !!! I used my limitless card and get 3D glasses provided too all included in the price (which you can probably sell after on eBay for a mint !). Score !!

Yeah babyyy Star Wars here we come !!

Felicity Jones is def one of the best up-and-coming British actresses (even though she's 33 she has exploded the last few years), I'm actually backing her to beat Daisy Riddler's performance in The Force Awakens. I find Felicity has more range to her and easier on the eye like a young Princess Leia was..

They might not ask for ID at 12 o clock at midnight.. I mean they will probably assume you are over 15 by definition.. I would def risk it at that age - you only live one !

My sons are 5 and 8, they were really looking forward to it.

Agreed, a hasty add on they could've left out, probably some last minute add on "We need some Vader, it looks too gloomy! We're gonna loose some demographic!!"

I LOVE THE LOOK OF THIS MOVIE. I've slowly warmed to Force Awakens, but THIS excites me so much more. The colour coding/lighting really honours ANH. It's nice subtle touches like that which shows the directors respect for the original trilogy. And I already prefer Jyn to Reys plummyness.

Cant wait!!

I love the dark, gloomy feel to it. The colouring reminds me of the early Twilight movies. The early formation of the Rebel Alliance.

I think this is going to smash The Force Awakens out of the ball park.

I'm hoping for some twists that was sadly lacking in The Force Awakens with it's rehashed A New Hope Script. I enjoyed it but I'm getting great vibes from this new, untold story of the other side.

This film isn't about the early formation of the Rebel Alliance. By this point it's an established and organised force. The seeds were planted in ROTS and had been growing ever since. If it's the early formation you want to see then, again, you should be watching Rebels.
