Bad language being used in an Episode on 27th Feb.

Doctors has used words such as To*ser, Prick,Slut and Slag in the last year too.

Seriously? *Rolls eyes*

To quote Eric Cartman, some people clearly got sand in their vagina.

The only investigation it deserves is the dreadful acting.

Is there any need for silly little comments like that?

Doctors like every show on TV has it's good and Bad acting.
Doctors however has a great way of bringing in some big name guest stars.

Sadly we are in this PC age. You can't say or do anything without being Offensive.

That's not exactly true is it. They did use a word which is a put down and as a teacher I would never let a student call another person that word. They've managed lots of episodes without offending.

Can anyone remember it being used? I don't think I can, so it didn't stand out to me....or maybe I wasn't concentrating?

Yeah, but only because someone in the Doctors discussion thread mentioned it, so I watched it again on iPlayer. I didn't actually notice it when I watched the offending episode the first time.

Which Part?

Showing someone half naked rubbing up and down poll (Melody) could be seen as Offensive.

That Racist guy that shouted to Mrs Tembe ''Get you're Black hands off of my Son'' could have been very offensive.

Doctors got bad press in the earlier days that showed Mark and Helen having sex on the bed.

The 'you can't say or do anything without being offensive.' I don't know the storylines you're talking about but surely the racist comment was to do with a plot. There is much more offensive language they could have used in that instance.

Yeah it was a plot line.
It was 'British jobs for British workers' this guy hated non British and Mrs Tembe of course is Black.

Anyway...

People do get offended to easily these days. TV has been toned down so much too.
It's such a shame but that's the way of the world.

Has Sorcha infiltrated the set?

You see, that wouldn't have offended me as it's a drama. (If I'd heard it in real life, obviously I would have been offended.)

I don't think the use of that language was appropriate on Doctors.

The word sex was edited out out of an episode of The Big Bang theory on E4 today, only to be used in the next episode and then immediately edited out again in the next line.

Make love was edited out of an episode of How I Met Your Mother the other day. I can't believe we live in a world where that is offensive to some. Don't get me started on an episode of Charmed editing out the word virginity. Even the word bang sometimes gets cut.

I need to stop watching E4.

Yes that is too far. I hated the way they used to edit Friends.
