Yes, that's a fair point Sorch. They were good tonight. It's like an orchestra. Get it playing right, everyone is happy.
I like lee and his anger storyline has so much potential. Pairing him with invisible Whitney was a mistake though and he's really underused. He is very overshadowed by his family.
The character is boring because he hasn't been given any material as that all goes to Danny dyer but Dannyboy Hatchard is a
Capable actor
he's like grant mitchell without the charm, the anger stuff is good from him but besides that its like looking into the great abyss ...............................................
It's not that anyone hates him it's more that no one really see the point of him, he had a interesting background to start but he again been a victim of being underused in a overexposed family, tbh the Carters need stripping back big time to a manageable unit and I think Lee could be near for the off in future, the actor seems to want to do movies eventually so could leave to do that as he probably seen how well Sam Strike and Ben Hardy has done.

Well, EE has always had horror elements if you look back in the show's history. (Shirley's boots, Rose's bridezilla dress, Phil's mauling of Mel etc). So they're merely sticking to tradition with Lee .

Harlowe, my man, what you up to?
I agree. Sadly I think Lee was cast to make up the numbers in the Carter family. He was never meant to be front and centre of the family. Not the actor's fault really.

TK! nice to see ya back, thought you had deserted us!
Yes I think so too, I find it a bit jarring how there unable to provide any sort of material for the younger lot, the other soaps can do it even if it's just a subplot in the background, but EE just can mesh any of it together.
I don't hate Lee but I don't love Lee either. I think his stock went up big time when Johnny left, losing a second Carter child just wouldn't have been good for the family's progression so I'm sure the people behind the scenes now consider Nancy and Lee characters that they must hold onto. Saying that it hasn't really translated into more significant storylines for either of them yet

Haha, no chance You won't be getting rid of me that easily .
Yes, you're right. EE do struggle to provide any sort of substantial material for the youngsters these days. They just focus on Lauren and that's it. In the old days, characters like Jamie, Martin, Sonia and Zoe were given their fair share of stories. But not anymore. Most of them are like filler/background characters now.
I don't hate him like others have said he's just a bit on the dull side, I had read he was a really good actor who had been doing west end shows before he joined EE so I thought he was going to be amazing ... maybe he is but just hasn't had his big story yet but some of his facial expressions are also a bit off putting.
