What is the off contract price of BT Infinity?

I am slightly concerned - I looked on the BT Tariff Guide and the off promotional contract price per month of BT Infinity 2 is an eye watering £32/month.

Is this true?

So when my contract period ends, the monthly cost will go up to that?

That is rather expensive!

When your contract is up phone and ask them for your MAC (to migrate to another ISP). They will likely give you an offer if you re-contract. I'm currently on Infinity 1 unlimited paying £15.

I am currently paying £25/month for Infinity 2, and at the start I had £120 cashback from Quidco, and £125 Sainsbury's gift voucher, all on a 12 month deal.

The off contract price for Infinity 2 is £32.12/month

Curious! I have seen it said many times that BT staff are VERY limited in what they are able to offer and that often the only way to continue with discounts is to move ISP when the contract comes to an end.

They were very keen to keep me when I rang up. At the time unlimited Infinity 1 was £23 and they reduced it to £15 with no argument. I just asked for my MAC, they asked why I wanted to move, where and for what price, I told them and they gave me the discount. I had to contract for another year though, but that seemed fair enough. Was all very easy.

I will certainly try it when my contract runs out (September) then! A few months back, as I said, people were reporting getting offered no more than a couple of pounds discount - and that the staff seemed to have no discretion to offer more!

I got this discount about 6 months ago. Maybe things changed after that? Definitely worth a try though. If they don't play ball you can always just go through with the migration to elsewhere.
