LOVED the bit when David made a run for it. He pushed Callum, who quickly ordered a search-and-intercept with his henchman in the car. When if he'd taken two steps forward he could have just grabbed hold of him. Brilliant

Operation Fit-Up was the latest deranged plot in the Gavin sl. I hope Michael appreciates all the audience is going through to keep him alive.

David had some good lines tonight and he does deliver them well. Not sure 'mortal fear' is within his acting range though.

The best/worst bit was David getting roughed up by Gemma. I know he's not exactly a hard man but come on!

I would laugh if this was in Hollyoaks but not the legendary Corrie being reduced to a laughing stock.

When that girl with the horrendous roots (I'm a boy who couldn't really give a shit about make up/hairstyles & shit, but come on!!!), and shouted 'surprise' at David, it was a truly shocking and equally shambolic scene, which really did emphasise the downfall of a once great show...

I don't understand why David can't just get Yasmeen to come & wave her mobile phone at them!! Worked with the scary gang terrorising Roy's Rolls!!

Callum's Drug Gang aren't fit to tie Walter White and Jesse Pinkman's shoe laces .

Well said, ericos. That gang in EE was horrendously bad, but they were unintentionally funny .

Are they meant to be scary or are Andy and David meant to be wimps?

It was really odd that Andy didn't at least try to take them on. Odd and extremely funny.

Have just posted almost the same in another thread!

Remember the days of a proper hardman, Jez Quigley, and the genuine feeling of menace when Steve McDonald was lured into that car park?

The only reaction last night's scenes got in my house was me and my son laughing our heads off, especially when the unfit looking Vicky Pollard caught up with David so quickly, she wasn't even out of breath but he looked like he'd run a marathon! Not to mention the one in the flat cap - as villainous as a granddad offering you a Werther's Original! - repeatedly asking' can I hit him'.

Shocking! All connected with it - the writers/casting/producers (I won't include the actors as they were working with what they'd been given) should be sacked immediately, and I don't just mean Stuart Blackburn but also Kieran Roberts, who has got away with overseeing the decline of this show for far too long.

I love Corrie but this was bad, bad, bad. I love David's character also, but those scenes brought him down
Callum and his 'gang' are woeful!

Blackburn - Please make it stop!!!

It was unintentionally hilarious....I especially liked the bit where Callum ran his hands over his choice of weapons. As for his sidekicks, Zippy, George and Bungle would have been more scary (and realistic) villans!

I was doing other stuff whilst I was watching it so I wasn't completely glued to the screen, but wasn't there a downpour which rendered David's windscreen completely obscured, which had disappeared in the next scene? I didn't even bother to watch the second of last night's episodes, it was so poor.

The whole story was rubbish, the idea of Andy/Gavin walking into a strange pub and leaving 10 minutes later with a bag of the white stuff, is just ludicrous.

And get rid of Bethany and Sarah. Neither of them can act.

The only thing more hilarious than the gang was seeing David getting kneed in the nuts by Baby Spice

Cal and his menacing gang would work a treat if raucous comedy music was played when they appear. Corrie has gone so far down the tubes, I wouldn't be surprised if this was next.

I was waiting for the Benny Hill music to come on during the chase scenes
