Vodafone nightmare

I received my galaxy s6 edge Friday brilliant all working fine yesterday the phone has full signal but says emergency calls only. Rang vodafone apparently I'm migrating from an old system to a new one should be done within 24 hour's still nothing as of 9pm the following day. I've spent the best part of 2 hours on the phone to them today as some advisors are using a new system some an old my account is on the new system. I'm still no closer to getting this issue fixed is there anything I can do maybe a reset of some settings it's starting to get quite tedious having to explain the same situation to at least 5 different advisors on the same call.

Try going to mobile networks, choose network operator and then select another network ie EE/Three/O2, it should say something like can't connect to network. Now try this process again but select Vodafone.This may not work but worth a try.

Have you just joined Vodafone or is this an upgrade? If an upgrade is your old SIM still working?

Sounds like the SIM is not activated yet, and you will have to wait it out until they fix it.

If you look over on the MSE forum some people have been waiting for Voda to sort this very issue for 6+ weeks and still have no luck.

There's a Vodafone rep that posts on the boards over there. He may be able to help you.
