It's either Luke, Becca or Sean. I wouldn't mind seeing Becca again.

I'm nearly certain that it'll involve Ryan returning like a lot of people on here and I'd be really happy with that. I actually was a big fan of Ryan during his first tenure and felt like he had a lot of potential. It also gives Whitney and Stacey something to do, the key storyline resolving has been a long time coming too.

It'll be Ryan to either scupper the same budding romance that the article mentions involving Stacey and Martin, or make Stacey realise she should move on from the bad boy type now and settle down with boring Martin.

If Ryan was returning, I'd love Janine to return also. Obviously I wouldn't agree with the rehashing of old storylines, but I think these two characters are great together and would love to see them together again.

Ryan and Stacy were a terrible pairing - I hate that Lily was his and not Bradley's. Ryan was only tolerable when he was scheming with Janine (they were a fun pairing) so idg the point in bringing him back at all.

I feel Janine and Michael were the ultimate pairing. I felt Janine only liked Ryan for his looks. I don't dislike Ryan but if they are going to have him involved with Stacey again, I hope it's only a short return as I didn't care much for Stacey and Ryan's relationship either. Wasn't Lily born as a result of a bunk-up on top of a car bonnet? Stay classy Walford.

Jean is being overlooked and aside from Ryan is the most likely to return.

Jean is rightly being overlooked as she wouldn't be described as a "face from the past" Stacey is still in contact with her - she only left last year.

I'm not sure whether the key has something to do with this face from the past, but I'm interested to know why Stacey specifically gave the key to Lauren for safekeeping over anybody else or maybe that was just a lazy gimmick from the writers to make sure we didn't forget it. Hopefully it's something to do with the former

Don't forget stacey then decided she wanted him and had a right to him after he had married Janine and started up an affair. Ryan said he loved her and unless she was being a complete bitch (sleeping with a married man when she didn't even care about him) there must have been some feelings on her side too. He was planning to leave Janine for her.

But then at the last minute she declared she didn't love him as it was still Bradley. Same thing to Max.

Not a great love story on her side but more to it than just a ONS.

Luke... The bloke she was with last year and Alfie ruined things by revealing to him that she killed Archie. He knew her as Jenny.

Becca... Her friend from 09-10. She reported Bradley to the police for killing Archie leading to his death.

Ryan or Janine are. Both also have the connect to Whitney. Janine is he adoptive aunt although Ricky never adopted whit, she was also close to Whitney)

I cannot see Becca returning. She was hardly a big character, so not sure why she would come back.

I don't think it'll be Janine because I'm guessing Stacey already had the key when she returned last year as Janine was leaving.
Like others have said it would be odd to call Jean a face from Stacey's past, plus she only left recently.
I doubt it's Sean but I wish it was.
I think it'll end up being Ryan as he has connections to Stacey, Whitney and Lily.
