Glastonbury is 24th-28th June, Wimbledon starts 29th June. Still no sign of any BBC/Arqiva permission from Ofcom to put RB channels on non BBC muxes though. Should appear at http://licensing.ofcom.org.uk/tv-bro...er-issues/?a=0 if it does.”

I'm starting to doubt that any non-BBC muxes will be used. BBC B has a lot of space on it - enough for a HD channel and an SD one or two.

and indeed two hidden SD channels have just appeared on BBCB, very likely for the red button feeds. Discussion about them over at http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...php?p=78571932

Moel-y-Parc COM8 is up and running. No idea when it came up, I don't normally have an aerial pointing that way.

I can confirm Sheffield COM8 is running. Along with Beacon Hill today, that's the rollout of COM8 complete.

We don't have COM 7 in Preseli transmitter area, let alone COM 8. Does anyone know whats happening with that? Is it ever going to be rolled out here?

The rollout is complete. If you don't have it, you won't get it. In 3 years we will be at the beginning of a big frequency change, which will ultimately see the number of multiplexes cut. We'll get a better idea of what's going to happen after a major international frequency planning conference that's taking place in November.

It doesn't necessarily follow that if you can't get COM7 you can't get COM8 either. It depends a lot on the particular UHF channel used in your area and your aerial's sensitivity to it.

I can't get any trace COM7 where I live but we are just about able to receive COM8.

Incidentally am I the only one to have noticed a deterioration in the signal from COM8 since it first went on air?
