She'll leave in a Limo, after having a party. Revealed on This Morning.

Is she going to win the lottery? Maybe she'll emigrate to Australia and stay with Kathy.

That's a good send-off for her. Maybe as StevieR suggested she'll go off to Australia to live with Kathy.

She's an elderly woman who has been in ths show since the early 90s - one of the longest serving characters. She lived with Seth who was quite a legendary character (he was the game keeper before Sam) until his death and lodges with Victoria Sugden after she let Vic buy her house on the condition she could stay. She's a good friend of Pearls and Edna.

She hasn't appeared much over the last couple of years and when she did she looked quite gaunt leading people to speculate the actress was unwell.

I'm really glad they aren't killing her off. I hated that they done that to Pat Butcher and that's it, I like the thought of Betty out there somewhere

When Betty goes that means Victoria will have the house all to herself, wonder if Adam will move in with her full time.

Probably only until she finds out about Adumb and Nessa, at which point she'll throw him and all his only just unpacked belongings out into the street.

Yeah - it won't be "upstairs - NOW!"

it'll be

"Outside - NOW!"

I'm so pleased she is getting a fitting farewell. She is such a well loved person on and off screen. She deserves this break now.

She will always go down as one of Emmerdale's legends.

Just after all the Charity/Declan stuff, I'm so annoyed that I missed that! I started watching because I watched a clip of the Woolpack siege, I always thought it was a bit boring before that, but it's my favourite soap now.

The woolpack siege was amazing drama! That was a real peak for Emmerdale.

I like Emmerdale, but I can take it or leave it, as I don't find it addicting and I don't care about the characters, as much. However, it still has a very strong cast. It's strange, but I just can't care for it the way I do EastEnders and Coronation Street (Although Emmerdale is more consistent than EastEnders and WAY better than Corrie).

I started watching around 2007, I think it was. My favourite year of the show was probably 2010, or 2013!.

I used to catch the odd episode in the 70s and 80s when off sick from school but didn't start watching properly until 1986 around the time Pat Sugden (Robert's mother) was killed in a car crash. So even i've missed a lot! It was the last of the 'original' UK soaps (corrie, EE, Brookside, Crossroads, Take the High Road, Emmerdale) I got into.

I've seen it since but not at the time. Or i might have done have done, my Mum worked part time and we used to watch tele together in the afternoons after she picked me up from Nursery and i just don't remember. I would only have been 18 months though so perhaps not surprising!

It became Mum's favourite soap by far but i think part of that was because it reminded her of home - she was from the North East so closest soap to her location wise.

The past few years have been amazing, especially with Kate heading the show.

There's great stories, great characters, great drama, funny too, all with good acting, everyone gets there limelight moment

I was there as well. They started with a funeral as I remember it. And their first murder was soon after this. Nothing new then!

It would be for fun and controversial if she was to get decapitated by some farm machinery like a hedge cutting tractor. Would lead to some good stories and conflicts in the village.

That's cruel. I don't like her either but I don't want her killed off. Paula Tilbrook is 85 and retiring - she's hardly likely to come back all guns ablazing.
