Aww bloody hell. NO! I don't like this kind of story, it's been done to death. I like Vanessa but I don't want to see her saddled with a child, especially one with a father like Adam or Kirin.

Maybe Emma do a paternity test switch on the baby. The baby could actually be Kirin's but Emma sneaks into the hospital lab to change the test results to make Adam the father and ruin his relationship with Victoria

Unfortunately, this lazy plot was inevitable as soon as Vanessa slept with Hot Adam.

Saw this coming a mile off. It was obvious the cancer scare storyline was so she could split from Not17, sleep with Adumb, then get back with Not17.

So sick of affair storylines and this Adam/Vanessa one is just too pathetic. Hopefully it will be over before it even starts like all of Vanessa's other storylines.

The fact a bunch sat down and said "yes lets run with another cliched whos the daddy plot" is truly ridiculous.

Adam being the father probably has more future potential than Kirin so I'll guess he's the dad.

Also does nobody use contraception, I mean she's a medical professional (even if animal medicine) and she's off having sex with no contraceptives with various men, talk about irresponsible in relation STDs if nothing else.

Contraception isn't 100% certain - people can get pregnant when using it so for all we know she might have used it and still got pregnant.

'Cliched', that is the word I was looking for, firefly_irl. The quality of wriitng on Emmerdale at present is abysmal. I wouldn't be surprised if we have Emma pregnant with James baby as well.

Adam will be the father because it is the only way for it to affect both couples which is what the writers obviously wanted. Either that or they will go down the route of everyone telling the truth everybody hating Adam/Vanessa and then the baby will be Kirin's and they could have kept it a secret the entire time. Boring.
